The greatest player I’ve seen in my lifetime for ND. And he’s only gonna get better
Does the playoff games count for consecutive games with a TD? If so that’s a new record isn’t it?

ETA: yep it is.

Human highlight reel.
Possibly the most photogenic man on the planet?

I’m not here to downplay how exceptional of a player and athlete Love is, but ND fans are getting spoiled at what we’ve been witnessing lately at the RB position. Kyren Williams to Audric Estime to Jeremiyah Love (with Price as a backup).

ND should offer him all sorts of $$ to come back in 2026 as well as 25.

He needs to stay healthy in 2025 then get drafted in the first round of the 2026 draft
I’m a little worried that he has blown up so much and locked up 1st round status for 2026, that if he has any small or nagging injury next year, he will shut it down to protect his draft status.

100% this is how it will play out. I wouldn’t expect much from him next year in tenemos if high volume carries

As long as he’s okay with it I wouldn’t give him high volume either. If price comes back you will have 4 capable backs. I think Williams will be more involved in the passing game Young is gonna be your 3rd down back and goal line back

Mr. Love is really good. NO ARGUMENTS nationwide..
Running backs typically are not highly drafted. BUT
Running backs usually have short careers. So, maybe he goes and maybe he stays.
BUT either way, WE are going to field the finest RB corps in the nation.
WHY? I don't believe that most realize how good Williams is.
I almost NEVER see an unproductive play out of him, and he blocks.
I believe that the only thing that stops him from early stardom is "the other guys" we have.
(including the freshman.)

This is the dumbest statement I’ve seen there’s zero chance he comes back for a 4th year
Blake fisher got selected 50th or so and earns less than $2mill a year.
On recent college contracts ND could offer him more than he would get if he was selected in the 2nd round.
If he thinks he is a lock for a first round pick then yeah he is out of here. But a $3mill offer for his 4th year would be tempting to him.

I would be ashamed of our staff if, barring injury, Love was back in '26. Running backs have a hit count and he should be looking to his second contract. That means getting to the NFL asap.

That logic does not make one bit of sense to me IF (big IF, I know) IF he would earn more money at ND in 26 than he would in the NFL.

I mean...I think your entire premise is a fantasy in the first place. Do we even know his personal goals?

It's nonsensical to think Love would get the kind of money he'd need to stay. ND/Boosters shouldn't pay it, either. He's a RB who avgs >13 touches per game and you want to give him QB money!?

But to rephrase what I was saying...It would suck if the staff wasn't pushing him to go pro after next season. With current information, I would feel they were putting their wants above what's best for him. If he blows his knee out in the first few weeks of next season, then sure, coming back could make sense.
