I don't agree, there were plenty of BCS title games and CFP games when it was four teams that were blowouts. Blowouts were the norm, in fact. I do think traveling north probably affected SMU and UT.
the only improvement is that there are these on campus games but it seems to me that the top 4 don't actually get those (Georgia plays in New Orleans) which is lunacy. A top 8 with no bye would be better.

I assumed it was Boise who had to pay their players from going into the portal before their game, but maybe it was Tenn?

Where was this offense for OSU all year? Did they just not trust Howard, or just wanted to run the ball since they’re probably paying a fortune for that backfield,

Tennessee and Texas were vaunted defenses throughout SEC play. Exposed today.

Tennessee D has no team speed.

Turns out a conference of awful QBs maybe made some defenses look better than they are

I was thinking Day should be shot if he punts in + territory while up 21-0.
Ha. To me, the only way Tennessee is going to do anything is from a turnover or some other gift but I’m glad he got it.

Is it just me or does Tennessee look slow?

Tennessee is number 17 In the 247 team talent composite, and there average player rating is also 17 (89.5).

If anything, they’ve outperformed this year considering how Nico hasn’t lived up to expectations yet. Typically with a roster like that you need Really strong quarterback Play to be a top 10 team.
