I am pretty sure the convos being had are we Milroe and Ewers. Not sure either are worth 4 million.

That said, Milroe, Love, and Price. Omg.
For those nfl/draftniks, what's the consensus on Milroe? Will they ask him to switch positions or give him a shake at qb?
Seems like he'd be a weapon as a Deebo Samuel type if he wasn't locked on being a qb.

Someone on ISD said one of the WRs we locked up is a "name we are very familiar with" and a big time player from an ACC program. Was hoping for Ayomanor as we really need a boundary but let's dunk our nuts on Stanford and take Mosley from them, too
If this were the case, with no insider knowledge at all, I'd guess Mosley for the familiar and Concepcion(or maybe Singleton or Hunter) for the ACC big time WR. Ayomanor would be fantastic, but can't understand why he would throw away a Stanford degree when he is so close. Isn't that the whole reason to go there?

Perhaps he can finish there in the spring like Collins did?

Unless Carr is more hurt than they are letting on, it doesn’t make sense to get a starting transfer.
Would bringing in a transfer QB with one year of eligibility truly be an issue for Carr if it led to Minchey transferring? It sets him up as the backup next year and positions him to be a multi-year starter assuming he lives up to his potential. I know everyone wants to start immediately but no team worth a shit is going to "guarantee" the starting job to a player who has yet to play a down. Seems like ND would still be his best option.

That’s definitely why he went there in the first place. Unless he absolutely hates the losing or some other serious issue , I don’t think he transfers.

.

Ayomanor did not enroll early at Stanford, so he's still likely a year away from graduating, and as others have said, I don't see how he leaves a Stanford degree on the table. Stanford does offer online classes so he could potentially finish his degree online like Collins did... but, obtaining a degree in just three years is hard, and I imagine harder at a school like Stanford.

Another big name would be Malachi Fields from UVA. Who averaged 20 yards per catch vs ND this year. However, he is not officially in the portal.

Singleton (GT) is another big name but he's on an SEC visit swing, so he wouldn't fit the criteria.

But yeah, could be Mosley. I wouldn't call him a big-time player but he did come on late in the season and I believe one outlet made him a first-team freshman all-american.

If we got Concepcion and Singleton we would have a borderline unstoppable offense next year even with Angeli at QB. Like we would seriously blow out every single team we face that doesn't have two NFL corners and 5 NFL players in their front 7. QB becomes borderline irrelevant as long as you don't have a Michigan situation (we don't).

With that being said, we quite obviously aren't getting either of them, right? This is just blind hopium?

I love the hype. I love the thought.

Concepcion & Singleton are taking visits. Wouldn't fit the criteria. But, I know that you know that. Just stating for others that are gonna read this and feel hope.

100% blind hopium from me:ROFLMAO:. Someone earlier said we had a big time ACC wr locked up, so just speculating on big time ACC receivers that are transferring....
*Also, did not realize the criteria was that they were not taking visits, so clearly I don't know what I'm talking about....

Was anyone else really disappointed in Beaux Collins down the stretch this year? Dude cannot catch a ball to save his life, nor does he block well
I was definitely disappointed……..he made some nice catches but also had some inexplicable drops.

According to Irish Illustrated pod yesterday, ND will most likely be announcing who the transfers are sometime after the IU game.So won’t have to wait much longer.

Very good big body / jump ball WR, would be our WR1 this year.

Him and Mosely are a good pair, just would like some explosiveness in the line up

I’ll be in and out of campus today. Allegedly there are visits going on this weekend. I will do my best detective work.

Malachi Fields is followed by both Mike Brown and Chad Bowden so I'm saying it's him as well.
Sampson mentioned him in the athletic mailbag today, which led me to believe that maybe he knows something.

But he also mentioned the Purdue TE, which led me to believe that no one knows anything.
