I would hope not. Bama's defense isn't anything special and the fact that he can't even provide them with rotational snaps is alarming. He's still got 3 years left, but I'd say the odds are better than 50-50 that he's a bust and won't live up to his recruiting ranking. It's nothing personal against him.
Ya, definitely a fair assessment.

What do you guys think? Do you think we would entertain Noah Fifita as a transfer QB? He did have a breakout '23 and led The Wildcats to a 10-3 record with only 6 interceptions but doubled to 12 this year; he's a creative, productive passer for sure. I liked watching him last year. There's def. smoke re: whether he will enter the porty or not. It does seem awfully strange he wouldn't have already bolted for another team with losing AZ/his leading receiver Tetairoa McMillan and starting LT to the NFL; and there's uncertainty re: who AZ's new OC will be. Again, he's an exciting QB and he entertained Columbia and Rice out of HS. And he's the perfect ND QB at 5' 10" to boot! Arizona QB Noah Fifita not planning to transfer, but OC hire could sway him

Hes good but the 60% completion % isn't selling me and being 5'10 behind an OL with an average height of 6'6 will be an issue. Plus he isn't much of a dual threat I think the staff wants a QB with a big arm but also a respectable runner.

Maybe just maybe.. Carr is actually mid and/or the elbow is going to be problem.

Maybe Peanut Butter isnt the answer..

Maybe Kenny just isn't good...

None of us really know. The beat doesn't really know. I'll trust Denbrock.

And if you pick Carr you had better be sure because you're not going to have much of a bench.

People can say well ND needs to develop their QB's well look at USC and Oregon and Ohio State the last few year's most of the big time schools are getting transfers. Maybe Carr isn't ready and Freeman doesn't want to waste a crazy good roster and starting a 1st time QB next year.

I’d say that it’s likely, however, Ayomanor is close to getting his Stanford degree and that was the main reason he went there.
I would think Ayomanor would just go to the NFL. I've seen him in the Day 2 range on mock drafts and fwiw, his stats would probably go down if he came to ND.

I know less than you but I think it would make sense for both parties - assuming he wants to be a DT. Otherwise, spending the rest of his career as Bryce Young's backup can't be that enticing.
Considering his growth rate and his dad, it's still not out of the realm of possibility Young doesn't turn into a 6-7, 295 lb game wrecker at 3tech.

I think Burnham is a lot better strong side than he showed since he played most of the year in one good ankle.

There is only two QB's that they would be all in on like this. Ewers and Haynes King. King is more likely because he is a pure dual threat that Denbrock likes and I'm assuming that Carr is okay with this or else they wouldn't be doing it. The only other guys who I could see would be Morton from Texas Tech or Becht from Iowa State.

God I hope the two WR's we have locked up are Ayomanor and Mosley I'll take those two all day.

Someone on ISD said one of the WRs we locked up is a "name we are very familiar with" and a big time player from an ACC program. Was hoping for Ayomanor as we really need a boundary but let's dunk our nuts on Stanford and take Mosley from them, too
