ASU has a chode running back who is impossible to tackle. I'm happy to not see him in an ice game.Georgia is a much tougher potential second round matchup than Boise State or ASU.

Lol I really don't, but I also don't project my personal feelings/tastes into folks 1/2 my age.I think I know who else loves Dominos....
Georgia -- without Beck, who was killing them -- is probably the most talented team in the country. Boise State, ASU, Clemson, SMU were the four teams that are a "tier below" ... two of them getting byes is nutty. Major flaw in the system.Georgia is a much tougher potential second round matchup than Boise State or ASU.
It’s not happening. Just stop. Not surprised at all. Time to join a conference
I don't think any of these teams are great. It's a pretty weak year. 2018 Clemson, 2019 LSU, 2020 Bama, and 2022 UGA would smoke every single one of these teams without breaking a sweat. With that being said, I'm not overlooking Indiana, and a potential 2nd round game with UGA scares me because they're going to stack the box and we'll likely have trouble blocking them up front. Are any of you afraid of any of these teams?
That would be a second round game, not at home, right?ASU has a chode running back who is impossible to tackle. I'm happy to not see him in an ice game.
Man I dont think you get it. If they win, they get a huge leg up of a 3 game path to the championship. It's not like they played the game with no potential reward. If you get a positive for winning, there should be repercussions for losing. There was zero repercussion. It was a conference Championship game in which they lost by 1 score to the #1 team in the country. Both of their losses were to top 8 CFP teams and they don't have a NIU or NIU-equivalent loss.
Okay, let's say we beat NIU and lost to A&M. Any reason to think the rankings would have been different? Before ND joins a conference, can we try not losing to a mid MAC team at home?
IU then we need to beat a weakened UGA.Pretty much this. They set the seeds to avoid conference rematches and the result is that we get a boring first round game and a much harder overall path than two bad teams that lost their CCGs.
I'm with Saban.
PSU is really good at losing to top teams? Okay...It was a conference Championship game in which they lost by 1 score to the #1 team in the country. Both of their losses were to top 8 CFP teams and they don't have a NIU or NIU-equivalent loss.
Yeah I was more talking about the universe where SMU had beaten Clemson and Arizona State got pushed out of the top 4 seeds. That would be a second round game, not at home, right?
No. Oregon will give us the hardest game but we can absolutely win against any of these teamsAre any of you afraid of any of these teams?
We're keeping our football team at a disadvantage if we don't join a conference. We basically have to be undefeated to get a better seed than we did this yearIt’s not happening. Just stop.
If an ND can sells their tickets to an Indiana fan they deserve a painful death. Let's please not let them take the stadium over. The worst part about this is that there are going to be TONS of Indiana fans at this game... we always have the trope "it's their Super Bowl" but in this case it literally is their biggest CFB game ever and it's a short drive.
