ngl I would be pretty disappointed to play Clemson considering how often we've seen them the last couple years. I want one of the other matchups.
The committee loves pedo. They are staying ahead of ND with a one score lose to the number 1 teamIt’s the opposite, unfortunately.
So I get the argument that ND shouldnt get a bye because they don't play a championship game and have one less game. But If you use that argument I don't think you should punish ND for not playing this week by having the losers of these games (Penn St and Texas) ahead of a ND team who has better record.
Bro look at the computer models. Alabama is orders of magnitude better than SMU.
Oregon, Texas and Georgia are way more concerning than IU and or ASU. Lol.The only teams that give me any concern are Ohio State, Arizona State and IU. The rest I think we beat comfortably.
Sampson will be correct, unfortunately.Sampson doesn't make any sense to me but I guess they'll set the precedent on the importance of the conference championship.
The fifth seed will play Arizona State unless you think they're jumping 6 spots over boise. This is why getting the fifth seed is so important, first you play a bad clemson and then are set up against a very beatable Boise State
You’re more worried about ASU than Oregon or UGA?The only teams that give me any concern are Ohio State, Arizona State and IU. The rest I think we beat comfortably.
lol. I just sat here and watched Oregon have the worst defense of top 10 team I’ve ever witnessed, Texas look more like Texas Tech, and Georgia be the most beatable SEC champion I can recall since the 1980s. I fear NONE of them. At all.Oregon, Texas and Georgia are way more concerning than IU and or ASU. Lol.
YesYou’re more worried about ASU than Oregon or UGA?
correct. I think we handle Oregon and Georgia. ASU looks dangerous. You’re more worried about ASU than Oregon or UGA?
ASU looked dangerous against Iowa State. That ain’t sayin much honestly.Yes

I think ND can win it all but yeah…
What a dream this would be. Would be ~10pt favorites in the first 2 games, and would effectively be a pick em against Oregon.
ND would beat everyone in this 12 team bracket easily, except for Oregon and Ohio St. I truly believe those are the only two teams that can beat ND right now.First-round matchups
No. 12 SMU (11-2, at-large) at No. 5 Texas (11-2, at-large)
No. 11 Clemson (10-3, ACC champion) at No. 6 Penn State (11-2, at-large)
No. 10 Indiana (11-1, at-large) at No. 7 Notre Dame (11-1, at-large)
No. 9 Tennessee (10-2, at-large) at No. 8 Ohio State (10-2, at-large)
Projections I just saw...

My guess. I think they drop us a spot, so they can move up UGA1 Oregon
2 Georgia
3 ASU
4 Boise
5 ND
6 Texas
7 OSU
8 PSU
9 Tennessee
10 Indiana
11 Clemson
12 SMU
My guess.
I don’t agree that SMU should be knocked out, but THIS is exactly why I think we jump PSU.
The committee are Neanderthals and think any loss = have to drop down. They’ve done it repeatedly over the last decade.
IMO PSU shouldn’t drop for a close loss (even tho we should already be above them), but the committee will punish them anyway bc that’s just what they do / how they’ve treated Conference Chanpionships in the past.
Pretty insane UGA wasn’t in last year in retrospect.
ASU didn't beat the 85 bears today. My guess. I think they drop us 2 spots, so they can move up UGA and ASU
1 Oregon
2 Georgia
3 Penn State
4 Texas

11 Clemson
12 SMU
Right, like these aren't apples to apples comparisons - there was no way Georgia stayed in last year over Bama, who had the same number of losses and a H2H win over them. The only controversy was Bama vs FSUWho do you drop in '23 between undefeated conference champ Michigan, undefeated conference champ Washington, 1 loss conference champ Texas with a larger MOV against Bama?
Yeah, I just edited it while you were typing...had a mix up...take a second lookASU didn't beat the 85 bears today.
