Call me out I don’t mind.

I thought he was Irish for a long time, then the distance stuff came out. That never works for ND. The staff did help themselves with the kicker (which I know nothing about) and him.

Again imo they went from an E grade on the finish to a C+. Everything happens for a reason and I am glad he is Irish.

I think he’s gonna play a ton as a situational pass rusher as a freshman. His ceiling is so high, probably the highest for a ND LB recruit since Jaylon.

Sneed is playing more, starting to get involved in making plays, and most importantly… dude brings MAJOR energy.

Even when he’s not on the field, he’s the first one hyping his teammates when they get to the sideline after a defensive stand. Can count at least three times where they’ve shown the ND defense hitting the sidelines going into a commercial/punt, and he is the first one there jumping up and down and dapping up whoever made the play.

That type of thing doesn’t sound like much, but I’d pay for that dude to return for team culture purposes, if nothing else.

When you’re not gonna get top 5 classes, and you’re going to be relying on (1) developing freshmen over years, and (2) acclimating impact transfers to campus and team culture, a dude like Sneed pays for himself simply be being a good teammate and ambassador of what ND can do, even if you aren’t the headline starter.

(Plus, he’s a good enough athlete that you pay him to stick around and see if the light turns all the way on… his limited production is STILL more worthy of NIL money than what most high school recruits would be worth, imo.)
