How about a combo of KVA and Faraimo at LB? Does that move the needle for you or is there a pending movement of the goalposts.

It's a nice addition, will be interesting to see how they use Faraimo's versatility, love a LB that started off playing Safety for a few years. He shows the ability to play sideline to sideline at inside 'backer, man the outside or he can line up as an edge rusher in passing situations. ND might like him at the same position even though he has the skill level to play both inside/outside positions so ill be anxious to see how they utilize his skillset. Now, Is that exciting enough for you or do you need more Football viagra to get you going thru the day without silly commentary skipper!

B+ is the grade we still needed another LB (NOB, Nix or Mikhail) for a sure A. Sacca is a high upside player but played inconsistent as a LB learning the position from Safety this year. Koa is a very good athlete who flies to the ball and might outplay his ranking but right now he's a depth piece.

Faraimo: A with A+ potential
Sacca: B with B+ potential
Koa: C+ with B+ potential

This year does kind of undermine the narrative that Freeman is a super-recruiter.

It's a fine class (by ND standards), but not great. Here are my grades:

- QB: B (project with high upside and low downside)
- RB: B
- WR: C (huge need, lots of misses, Burress looks good)
- TE: A (they seem to always identify good TEs, so I'm assuming he's good)
- OT: A+ (best recruiting in a while)
- OG: B+ (didn't really need anyone, and I like Herron's athleticism)
- DT: B (good, but no one dominant or huge)
- DE: B+ (some clear upside, but no sure elite guy)
- LB: B+ (good, but needed another)
- CB: A (they seem to always identify good DBs, so I'm assuming they're good)
- S: A (they seem to always identify good DBs, so I'm assuming they're good)
- K: A (got lucky late)

Reminds me of Stanford recruiting during the Harbaugh era.

I watched Ko’o play this year and last year. He’s solid. Much better than a C+

B-/C+ is solid in my book and according to the Grade key I used as a reference. He has the tools and the quicks, but needs to add quite a bit of weight (208lbs) without losing too much of his speed. An asterisk in his ranking is his lack of competition in Hawaii.

This was my Grade reference:
A — Elite / Top 5 CFP caliber
B — Outstanding / Top 15 caliber
C — Solid / Borderline Top 25 caliber
D — Subpar / Not good enough
F — Disaster
