Work in midtown Manhattan so I stopped by the Sheraton Times Square on lunch to check out the ND pop up shop there. Man they really took over that hotel. ND signage everywhere - looks great.

I suspect Monken will use a lot of misdirection to offset ND’s speed advantage. I thought Hinish played well last week but he’s the weak spot in the interior & Army has some veteran OL who are big if they’re not tall so they may be a bigger challenge than UVA’s OL.

I remember when we beat West Virginia for the natty. All the talk was about how big WV's O-line was and how they would dominate the LOS. A&M's O-line was supposed to control the game in the opener this year. Army's O-line hasn't played a D-line that is as physical or as quick as Golden's.

We curb stomped WVU, and WVU fans are still salty. Major Harris was a good QB and they think we intentionally hurt him.
That score doesn't even come close to how badly Lou and company crushed them in 1989.

This Army team does not like to pitch it. QB and FB have most of their carries.
They will probably have to adjust their tendencies to get it going vs us

Defending against the triple is the easiest hard thing to do. You play your responsibility and don’t get caught up in any eye candy and you’ll be successful. If you’ve got guys that don’t play sound technique and decide they want to be a hero…that’s when you get beat.
