Plays both ways, also play basketball. Another big guy in the red zone who can cause matchup issues. He has blocked two punts on special teams this year as well.

The WR coach at Tulane Carter Sheridan spent 12 years with the New Orleans Saints prior to coaching at Tulane, so if he made the offer here, there is something to be said about this kid in that respect.

I don't necessarily have a problem with these kinds of reaches late in the cycle. My *actual* problem is the way the staff started the 25 and 26 classes with misses on, or failing to get in with, top targets.

The scholarship limit is going up, and it's more common to cut bait on kids who can't play. You can take swings on these players to at least fill the room when you have more of a cushion and the portal to fall back on.

But seriously, though. 26 WR recruiting is already rough.

We have a top 150 guy coming in for FSU and a 5 star athlete who may end up at receiver. A few other top 200 guys have already visited and have had positive things to say. It's too early to say it's rough. No other position except QB is looking any better at this point.

Getting close to "Why isn't Freeman helping close some of these dudes if his WR coach can't" territory... had enough of that under BK, and Freeman doesn't seem like a dude that would let things go south for that long without getting involved as the closer.

Something weird going on with WR recruiting. Best case scenario is these potential flip candidates are being told that the staff has a pretty good read on transfer portal targets that will also be coming in or something, and that they're going to have to battle to play early.

he's not right now, but has great measurables and a very high ceiling. With expanded rosters he's definitely wroth a flier, we dont have anyone on the roster with the same physical traits
