He's not Morrison freshman level yet but a promising start. Breaking up that late Brooks td catch would've nearly put him there.

played 76 snaps versus Louisville kinda wild baptism of fire
Meh, he was getting a ton of praise in fall camp and Freeman basically said they feel really good about him. Just a matter of having two really, really good DBs in front of him in Gray and Morrison, otherwise he would've been getting way more snaps in September.

Super impressed by him, and he proved the praise he was getting wasn't "coach speak."

Louisville may have the best receiver corp that we play this regular season, with the return of Caullin Lacy.

GT has a sneaky good one too. Southern Cal does again this year too, but I’m not sold on them so far.

It’s funny how the recruiting rankings weren’t high on Xavier Watts, Ben Morrison or Leonard Moore.
Yet, a few people who cover ND loved all three & thought all were criminally underrated.
It’s looking like Shuler & Urlacher could fall into that category soon too.

Kid looked great and made plays and played smart. No wonder Mickey knew it was time to leave.

Mickey probably thought he was not going to win the job next year against Moore. 72 snaps against UL NFL level receivers was impressive.

I may be completely way off here. I thought Moore was ranked low, as a 3 star by all sites but Rivals, due to him being injured majority of his senior year. Rivals had him as #228 overall and I’m thinking all sights would have him in the top 300 if he was healthy.

Right now he appears to be very sticky in coverage. I'd like to see him play the deep ball a bit better but I think that'll come with more experience

What is his legit 40? Didn’t this kid run down two would-be TDs from off screen this year?
