Clemson fans seem legitimately worried about us stealing Gideon. What awesome pull that would be here late in the cycle.

This kid's story is nuts too. He's originally from Ghana, his dad died and his mom had to put him and his brother in an orphanage when he was ~2. They got adopted and then "returned" before getting adopted a second time by their current family. By all accounts a great kid too.

On3 really likes him and has him rated at #18 on the QB list, far higher than Hebert. His offer sheet is not good though.

I know there's been grumbling about the staff and closing out Top 100 recruits, but I do have to give them credit - they always fill their classes, and never leave positions unaddressed from class-to-class, even with decommits.

That said, I hope this holds true for the WR position this year (although it seems we're close to filling out there as well).

Honestly yes. Singer and Kelly give regular updates on recruiting better than 247 or ISD tbh.

Reaper/ND7983 will bash On3, but he’s just a stooge for Driskell. He’s not a real insider.

I wish someone would call Loy out for that Freeling situation. I would but I'm 1/6 with my Illinois buddies on 247 so I can't post anything on the ND page.

It would seem to me that in light of what we're seeing in the last few days, they are obviously working on WR and there should be good news coming there before December.

It's totally acceptable to feel optimistic about recruiting and not act like a twatty toddler about it.

According to MaxPreps he’s averaging 4.6ypc. Not sure what happened here, he had a bunch of big offers early in the cycle.

Regardless, they need to take another guy, even if it’s a late riser that’s under the radar.

Thurman seemed like a good pick up at the time, had a lot of big time offers. Hasn’t developed like they hoped.

Anderson seemed like a lazy “fill the depth chart” offer since Thurman was in theory a good get and last years 2 were very good.
