I'm not going to feel comfortable against a team with their running backs with the poor defensive line play we've seen this season.

Speculation from Ga Tech fans was that we probably wouldn't hear anything until Tuesday.
Assuming they are out of the running for ACC by the time they face rival UGA at the end of the year, the ND game will be their highest profile game so I’d be shocked if King wasn’t ready to go full speed.

Good, no one is going to remember at the end of the year that we beat Georgia Tech without their starting quarterback. Actually is best case scenario if he only misses the Notre Dame game.

Based upon the below quote, the arm injury is the likely issue at this point. Certainly wouldn't have King go out and "give it a try" if it was a concussion issue.

Georgia Tech coach Brent Key, speaking with 680 The Fan on Monday, updated the injury status of quarterback Haynes King.
“He’s a tough kid,” Key said. “Day-to-day with it right now. He’s going to be out there (at practice Tuesday). We’ll see how it goes; we’ll see how the week progresses. It’s that time of year. Everybody’s banged-up — our team, other teams. So survival of the fittest at this point.”

Repeat of 2021 VT when Braxton Burmeister played through an injury? Jon Doerr with the dagger in a sloppy win that night

King’s a lot like Riley Leonard, good runner, not afraid to take on a tackler. Speculation is he got injured early, tried to play through it but they eventually pulled him. His passing was poor in the NC game, probably due to the injury. Ran for over 100 yards.
Key isn’t telling us much. If he plays he will probably be limited. But who knows?
Just another reason not to bet on football games IMO.

Totally understand Ley playing it close to the vest, but I can't imagine it being someone besides King with that kind of movement.

At this point, making the playoffs would be a great success for Freeman. There are only so many body blows you can take and stay standing. If this team wins these final 6 games, which is a bit of a gauntlet actually, it absolutely deserves a high seed in the playoffs.

Notre Dame Football has made dickhead QBs look like Ty Detmer for over three decades now.

Put your hat on and go smack whoever is out there for GT. Doesn't matter. Don't look past anyone. (NIU reference here)
I know. DON'T TAKE THE BAIT! This is going to be an intense game, just like it will be Navy, Army, U$C, etc.! Considering how many Irish 1 & 2 deep are out, don't take any game for granted! The Irish can't afford to lose another main defensive player! ONE game at a time.

Certainly better than the 2007 Ga. Tech game, which may be the most pathetic display of Notre Dame Football I ever had the pleasure of witnessing in person.
Funny story. I was at the game. The man sitting in front of me was legit crying. I offered my whiskey flask to him. As he poured it in his cup, the yellow jacket Gestapo was watching the whole time. They started saying something to him and he pointed directly at me and said "he gave it to me". I was escorted out because not only was liquor banned, distributing liquor was even more of a problem. Fuck that guy wherever he is today.

I believe we got super lucky on a late hit out bounds on Quinn to extend a drive into the half. The rickety old car almost killed people flying into the stadium as well.

If Haynes King is out I am more optimistic about being ready for navy. Although it is not the same concepts GT will function similar to them I believe. Heavy run with downfield shots. This game is going to come down to being disciplined on D and making the first tackle. Haynes is the best Rb we will see all year.

I was at all the home games in 2007 as a freshman at HCC. It was like watching people beat your grandmother every game...
