This explains a bit, still was uncalled for though. Not surprised about Louisville playing dirty.

The old dick twistI understand his perspective, getting spit on is incredibly insulting. I doubt he is the first player to be spit on, though and I'm sure he is capable of not reacting. If you are going to go at the guy for spitting...go at him then. You might get offsetting personal fouls....or thrown out. Otherwise do something less obviously later, like a shot in the nuts or a finger in his eye, grab his dick and twists it, etc. Either way, the lack of composure is disconcerting.
Great, now I’m imagining Jason Garret saying “look at that! The old dick twist” then cutting to Dean Blandino to weigh in on it.The old dick twist
So, I heard that in Aikman's voice and it's now clicked that Garrett is trying to be Aikman in the booth.Great, now I’m imagining Jason Garret saying “look at that! The old dick twist” then cutting to Dean Blandino to weigh in on it.

Action is justified, execution and timing was just stupid. If he was spit on, then his reaction is 100% justified and not uncalled for. Hopefully JC was waiting for him after the game outside of the locker room
Disagree, it's an emotional penalty and he cost his team 15 yards in a close game. Keeping your composure is possible when someone spits on you. I haven't thought about it too hard, but my instinct is that this is worse than sitting out.If he was spit on, then his reaction is 100% justified and not uncalled for. Is this something you do?If I'm a future opponent, I am DEFINITELY going to consider spitting on Clark in a big moment. Just to see if I can get him going and get a penalty.
What I would do is irrelevant. Is this something you do?
They catch Jordan Clark with the helmet hit, but not the Louisville WR spitting on him??
I should've included Clark on my post in the postgame thoughts. Clark is our JJB of last year, very consistent and makes plays.
If an ND player did that I’d like to think the coach / school would kick him out. What I would do is irrelevant.
Trying to rattle an opponent into making mental errors? I'm pretty sure teams/players consider ways to do that.
Prister was 100% wrong, I've been impressed with Clark all season.I’ll never forget Prister shit on this kid so hard in the offseason. His scouting report of him was so wrong, he should be forced to retire.

The film was bad though. He played injured.I’ll never forget Prister shit on this kid so hard in the offseason. His scouting report of him was so wrong, he should be forced to retire.

Of course he does. That doesn’t make the film good. If all you’re doing is reviewing the film and you see a guy struggling, you have to write that. Especially if you’re unaware of an injury that inhibited that play.Maybe Mickens knows what he’s doing.

Ice fucking cold
At this point the only one who's as good as Mickens on evals is Leonard's Mom.

Irish Illustrated is a great place to go during the offseason for inside info. Read or listen to their takes, and then you know the exact opposite is true.I’ll never forget Prister shit on this kid so hard in the offseason. His scouting report of him was so wrong, he should be forced to retire.
