I feel this. On a much smaller scale lol, I coached my 7yr old son in flag football last spring. When he scored his first TD i went full Dad mode, running down the sideline, and my heart swelled with a sense of love and pride I've never felt during a sporting event. When RC said that's my heart in the field, I instantly said that's the feeling.
Due to my work schedule I was never able to do much coaching for my kids. I did coach my son's flag football teams for three years and it was a blast. Of course I took it too serious but had a great time.

You're absolutely right on the pride you feel for your kids. My son stuck with football and got really good. Just got named all state here in Tennessee. High school football is so much fun and they take it serious here. All his games are streamed on Youtube with announcers and sometimes instant replay. There is a coach's show every week. It's nuts. I have one more year left of it, though he is wanting to play in college (probably FCS level). Nothing better than watching your kids succeed, especially when you see how much work they put into something.

Feel that. I coached Defense on my son's first flag team. I was transported with joy when he got his first INT.

TBH only saw him make one play last night.

In my world.... That means he was playing well.
Apparently he only had to play 15 snaps because of the heavy personnel PSU was using. Had a key pass breakup but that was it.

I think he’s better than Harper in coverage but he’s pretty small. I agree likely UDFA due to size or Steelers 7th Round.

Steelers took Joey Porter Jr from PSU prior

The Jets just had their most talented roster for the entire history of the team AND a first ballot hall of fame quarterback last year... won five games.

Whenever I think the Bears ownership might be the worst in the league, I keep getting reminded of teams like the Browns, Jets and Jags, as they continuously somehow make the McCaskey's look like football savants.
