Kentucky's situation -- using players who were retroactively ineligible -- is more like the one that led ND to vacate than UM's situation. Drawing conclusions from it is ill-advised. Charlie Baker has also gone on record as.saying UM won fair and square. I tend to think folks expecting that they will have to vacate the championship will be disappointed.

We have to collectively agree as college football fans to treat Michigan like the 2017 Astros. Sure they "won" the games, but everyone sees it as tainted and a terrible miscarriage of justice that the powers at be don't hammer the cheaters into the ground. I went to a White Sox game (with the other 9 fans that were there) to see the Astros and the loudest the stadium got was booing Bregman and Altuve. One can only hope Stallions becomes more infamous than Bartman…. wait they could be the same guy… lol

A bit damning for the largest college stadium, but really it comes down to design. The Big Toilet Bowl in Ann Arbor is the traditional bowl style which loses a lot of volume as there's not a lot of real estate vertically for the sound to bounce off of. Lincoln Financial field is a lot more vertical on each side, which helps trap the noise. The stands end up being closer together too as a result of the vertical design. I think we saw that in 2015 when we played Temple there, it was very loud.

Its just like the UNC situation. Deny Deny Deny and nothing happens. Where, here at ND you do the right thing and self report players cheating on paper or exam and they are suspended and wins vacated. The NCAAs power is waning and they know it, not that they had much to begin with.

To recap Level 1 recruiting violations. Proven direct contact with on field staff in regards to other teams plays from scouting teams weeks and months ahead of the game. And nothing will happen.
