run it back lol
Also good time to point out that Kamala Harris prosecuted people for undercover filming of Planned Parenthood officials who were selling baby organs.
Yesterday you told us Trump had absolutely nothing to do with Project 2025 lol.Is it at all surprising to you that a Conservative Think Tank drafts executive orders to immediately be implemented on the first days of a President's term? Do you think the President and his team prepares all of them on their own?
Someone here gets it lolYesterday you told us Trump had absolutely nothing to do with Project 2025 lol.
I've never claimed it but it's true. He personally did not direct it or write the thing, but this is literally what Think Tanks exist to do. They write and advocate for policy proposals, and when a President is elected who aligns with that think tank, they staff the administration. And then when the other side wins, they go back to writing for the think tank. It's not some insidious Hydra operation like you guys characterize it to be. When Joe Biden showed up day one, he had plenty of appointees from think tanks and EOs drafted by think tanksYesterday you told us Trump had absolutely nothing to do with Project 2025 lol.

The ego of this post is absolutely astonishing. Who are you and what are your qualifications to be IE's moral compass? In Canadian law, silence is not consent. I suspect it is similar in the U.S. You asked some questions and didn't get the number of replies you wanted. By your logic, anyone that didn't reply is transphobic? I am not going to be so bold as to speak for other members but I see a difference in respecting an issue/person vs supporting an issue/person.Thank you. I just wanted to highlight that there are bad faith actors out there that damage the message of well meaning people (you), but we can see just on this forum that only you identified this as transphobic whereas there are others here who claim to have nothing wrong with post-18 transitions.

Again, in my own opinion, you like to paint with a very wide brush.
Cheers and Go Irish!!
Simply donkey brained economic policy
I don't like Harris but what is wrong with banning price gouging?
I see.You love to sit on the sidelines and then jump in without any sort of understanding, it's astonishing really. You'll never post original thoughts just "Hey there bud, you are a big meanie and wrong!".
I responded to a post from a few days ago that claimed no one had an issue with adults transitioning, just wanted to see if #1 would be consistent with his previous post. I have been @'d multiple times to respond to something, so please spare me the outrage.
In my own opinion, you don't really understand what you're responding to.
It was a general question that should be easy to answer? I only used his post as a jump off point for anyone to answer. I figured that a few would correctly call it out. But you're just....doing whatever this is so bang up job lol!I see.
So when you posted "Not trying to target you - just using your point as "no one this board is against trans changes if acted upon properly"." to #1, in actuality, you were trying to target him? That seems disingenuous.
And you are absolutely correct in your opinion that I really don't understand what I'm responding to, particularly when it comes to Vortex posts, rationale and "reasoning", I wear that as a badge of honor. Best of luck.
Cheers and Go Irish!!
The way you phrase it is baiting. It’s damn if you do, damn if you don’t.Then why not just say it's transphobic, it's a lay up and many here don't even want to say that.
Ok - was Matt Walsh being transphobic in his post. The way you phrase it is baiting. It’s damn if you do, damn if you don’t.
Dude, I already answered.Ok - was Matt Walsh being transphobic in his post.
Ok so Matt Walsh's post was transphobic then. Thank you.Dude, I already answered.
I’ve stated numerous times that I am fine with people transitioning if they want to as long as they are of age. If you don’t believe me, that’s on you, not me.
I think the question is, how do they plan on regulating that? How are they going to set prices? Seems like a pipe dream, a carrot that they probably can't deliver on to lead people to the polls.I don't like Harris but what is wrong with banning price gouging?

The 25k to first time homeowners seems like a good idea on paper, but it'll absolutely drive the market prices up. It's basically no different than when the government started giving out thousands during the pandemic. It'll lead to more inflation. You're artificially creating more demand while supply is still low, prices go up. It'll end up offsetting the free money they're giving away. Not only that, but when Obama offered the $8k to first time homebuyers 15 years ago we saw people cheating the system for the cash, putting their kids on the deed so they could get the money. You'll absolutely see more of that if $25k is up for grabs.
Okay I agree some of that may not work.I think the question is, how do they plan on regulating that? How are they going to set prices? Seems like a pipe dream, a carrot that they probably can't deliver on to lead people to the polls.

Except her policy aids service workers only and not corporate execs who restructure their bonuses and other compensation as tips.We finally have a policy position out of the Kamala camp… a literally straight up copy paste of Trump’s no tax on tip proposal lmao
Yeah, I'm fairly certain the tip tax is another phony promise, but I'm intrigued that Kamala went all in on it too.Okay I agree some of that may not work.
The same with Trump not wanting to tax senior citizens and no tax on tips
You couldn't figure it out because I used the word prejudice instead of Transphobic?Ok so Matt Walsh's post was transphobic then. Thank you.
I don't know what the revenue loss would be for either, but it seems the loss wouldn't be that great if they stopped taxing tips. Especially when it's a common practice not to report all of your tips on your return.Okay I agree some of that may not work.
