Dude I already said I don't agree. And again playing devil's advocate we see that happen for denying healthcare for non transgender healthcare reasonsShould parents be punished by law, or face loss of custody, for denying their minor drugs or medical procedures? Toronto? Colorado?
No, I'm saying that there are those who will latch on to your concerns and make it into something it's not. You are presenting as someone who cares about children and there wellbeing, my point is that there many who do not earnestly care about the children and use this as a cudgel to carry out their anti-LGBTQ views.Right. The bolded is harmless.
People can support LGBT rights and still be against hormonal therapy in children.
Are you saying that I'm demonizing an entire community by having the opinion that children should not be on puberty blockers, hormones, or have surgery? This is more than just "a handful." Per your own provided stats, hormone therapy is 4200 kids. That's hardly "extremely minimal." 250 kids receiving surgery. Most of which are double mastectomy "top surgeries" that will change their lives forever. And these numbers are increasing. That's why this is being talked about.
I don't believe so? Not sure why you would ask lol. I've been pretty clear in my reasoning that any medical procedure needs all 3 signoffs - doctor/parents/patient. Do you believe that medical licenses should be revoked for those that perform these procedures?Should parents be punished by law, or face loss of custody, for denying their minor drugs or medical procedures? Toronto? Colorado?
Not sure about sixstar, but I feel like if you're too young to vote, too young to go to war, and too young to drink, you shouldn't be allowed to make life altering changes to your body. That's especially true for mutilation, but I think it should extend to hormones that are incongruent with your birth sex as well. Puberty blockers may be alright, feels like the least damaging.I don't believe so? Not sure why you would ask lol. But Harris can't do a Fox News debate because that's biased!!!
This got buried in the "every thread has to be about genitals" carnival that has become this forum.“You walk in, you say, you want to quit? They go on strike, I won’t mention the name of the company, but they go on strike and you say, That’s OK, you’re all gone. You’re all gone. So, every one of you is gone.”
Donald Trump - 8.12.2024
So much for the “pro union” bullshit that was being peddled at the GOP convention.
Not trying to target you - just using your point as "no one this board is against trans changes if acted upon properly".You're fairly new to the board, but for clarification, we've had this discussion numerous times. No one on this board is against trans changes if acted upon properly. Bottom line is if the child is under 18, they should be cared for psychologically (no drugs or surgery) until they reach the age of consent. At that time let them make their own decision. Until then they are not mentally or physically ready. I don't care for rationalizing it because it's a very small number. One is one too many if they aren't the age of consent. We've already seen a few examples where the parent allowed the child to change and later the child regrets it.
Sorry to hear you had your struggles, but happy you've worked through it.

When I see a post like this from a top conservative MSM member, is this something that everyone here disagrees with? Would you agree that Matt Walsh is being transphobic?
Thank you for being consistent when others are not. This person is an adult. You can dress like a furry and hump the light pole should you choose. Get a face tattoo and hack of your nuts. I don’t care. Be free. Just don’t make me pretend you’re BS is reality, or get upset when I think you’re a lunatic and stay away from the kids.

Actually makes perfect sense. Bought and paid for.Wait until you learn that Trump also donated to her AG race
Trump donating to her AG race before he was in politics over a decade ago is very different than the moderator of a debate she will be participating in being a donor to the office she is currently seekingWait until you learn that Trump also donated to her AG race

Thank you. I just wanted to highlight that there are bad faith actors out there that damage the message of well meaning people (you), but we can see just on this forum that only you identified this as transphobic whereas there are others here who claim to have nothing wrong with post-18 transitions.Saw this tweet too and cringed. It is transphobic and it's not helpful in keeping the crosshairs on the important issue within this debate...the minors, imo.
It shows prejudice, but to make a blanket statement that others don't think it is because they didn't reply is weak.Thank you. Then why not just say it's transphobic, it's a lay up and many here don't even want to say that.It shows prejudice, but to make a blanket statement that others don't think it is because they didn't reply is weak.
Is it at all surprising to you that a Conservative Think Tank drafts executive orders to immediately be implemented on the first days of a President's term? Do you think the President and his team prepares all of them on their own?
