When I worked at DoD, the top general at USAF Material Command (or whatever it was called) came to the base and said the greatest threat to the US military was consolidation among weapons and airplane manufacturers.'tons of people used to make jets! Now no one does!"
I mean that's the only logical conclusion anyone could reach, no?God now he's back to saying COVID was intentionally spread by China.
Sorry I left out the part when he also said they created it. And no the vast majority in virology community don't agree with that. Shitty response to the outbreak by China and then the US is what lead to such an outbreakI mean that's the only logical conclusion anyone could reach, no?
Who do you think created it? The Swedes?Sorry I left out the part when he also said they created it. And no the vast majority in virology community don't agree with that. Shitty response to the outbreak by China and then the US is what lead to such an outbreak
Sure, but it's not like there's little mom and pop jet manufacturers popping up. And it's not like his admin or policies will do anything to breakup monopolies. When I worked at DoD, the top general at USAF Material Command (or whatever it was called) came to the base and said the greatest threat to the US military was consolidation among weapons and airplane manufacturers.
Good night for DJT tbh. Especially the assassination stuff.
I think Joe should come do this so we can get a comparison. Kamala too. Except, they are hiding from the press."Advantages....like the sun....the water! You know." I'm sure I'll see many of the usual judge's of mental acuity posting how alarmed they are lololol
This has already been covered ad nauseam in the COVID thread. I'm not going to derail this thread when there's been a dedicated space for itWho do you think created it? The Swedes?
Trump doesn't like Rogan anymore because Rogan hurt Trump's feelings by saying nice things about rfk.I think Joe should come do this so we can get a comparison. Kamala too. Except, they are hiding from the press.
Trump should do Rogan next.
lol so you can just can say "omg the MSM is the bag of the DNC!!!!". Wild.I think Joe should come do this so we can get a comparison. Kamala too. Except, they are hiding from the press.

Really? He sounds like he had a stroke, like Peter Parker's uncle from the Toby Maguire Spiderman lol.
Right, but there is a big difference, in that an entire judicial movement went on for about 50 years to overturn Roe, but really nobody is trying to overturn Obergefell, and no serious Republican politicians are advocating for turning it over. Trump himself was the first republican to be nominated that was pro gay marriage. The Obergefell decision in and of itself is a pretty poorly reasoned opinion, but again that's why we shouldn't legislate from the bench to make changes in the country. Not true, like abortion rights it's not really codified into law. There's plenty of political pundits and plenty of articles that cover the topic in depth.
MSM is in the bag of the DNC. I think its wild anyone would deny that.lol so you can just can say "omg the MSM is the bag of the DNC!!!!". Wild.
It doesn't help that the largest newspaper in Minnesota is ran by a dude who was on Walz's cabinet as GovernorNot sure the relevance when the records and Tim's own statements and omissions 100% support that it's stolen valor.
The Minnesota GOP is extremely incompetent, and did a horrible job sounding the alarm over the years.
It took JD Vance like a day before he started bludgeoning him on national TV.
EDIT: the radio silence from Kamala/Walz is pretty deafening on this too. To me, that means they want it to blow over or they are oddly trying to craft some palatable answer.
Because the infrastructure to topple it wasn't in place. And that's in place now and we're now seeing courts moving thru the courts to potentially overturn obergefellRight, but there is a big difference, in that an entire judicial movement went on for about 50 years to overturn Roe, but really nobody is trying to overturn Obergefell, and no serious Republican politicians are advocating for turning it over. Sorry, if you lived in a country that had a military worth anything, you would understand how this is a huge issuelol it's so great, "tons of people used to make jets! Now no one does!"
Yeah, I never thought he would sound like that for this long. It's insane that his team didn't get this sorted out.Who knows!
His S's sound lispy but he sounds fine to me otherwise. Never noticed that before so maybe it's just a mic issue or something.
Uncle Ben was the best of us.
Sorry, if you lived in a country that had a military worth anything, you would understand how this is a huge issue
I guess I should just throw away my economics degree then, because I remember the very basic lesson that fewer competitors in an industry (due to corruption in the contracting process that exists in the military industrial complex) leads to higher prices.Yeah, I never thought he would sound like that for this long. It's insane that his team didn't get this sorted out.
I probably pay more tax than you do, in your own country lol you should be thanking me. If you knew anything about how economics work you'd find it hilarious that Trump is complaining that there aren't more jet companies.
Cool, I have one too. Do you also remember the lesson on how monopoly and duopolies are formed? Flip back to that part of the textbook and let me know how an anti-regulation and anti-market intervention president is going to split up these huge military companies.I guess I should just throw away my economics degree then, because I remember the very basic lesson that fewer competitors in an industry (due to corruption in the contracting process that exists in the military industrial complex) leads to higher prices.
You're speaking about regulation as a broad concept that promotes competition in the marketplace, and that just isn't true. There are competing economic schools of thought, but it generally depends on what the regulation is on whether or not it stifles or promotes competition. That being said, when the people who are creating the regulatory policy are corrupt, it's a moot point.Cool, I have one too. Do you also remember the lesson on how monopoly and duopolies are formed? Yes, I'm not about to ramble off Coase theories and what not, as I focused on macro moreso than micro. But, the hilarity of the guy representing the party that is more pro-capitalism than the other party as upset there is a concentration of manufacturers is pretty rich. You're speaking about regulation as a broad concept that promotes competition in the marketplace, and that just isn't true. The S's were weird! That was the only thing I noticed.. like the other sounds seemed right?Trump sounds a bit like Lou Holtz on the X interview
Former PPO Director John McEntee Joins Project 2025; Personnel Database Launches
And has been quoted in the press release about his role. I'll paste the quote below
“I’m tremendously excited to join Project 2025, the flagship transition effort to take back our country,” McEntee said. “The Presidential Personnel Database will be of extraordinary value for the 47th president because we are doing a lot of the incoming administration’s most important work ahead of time. From the most junior to the most senior, every prospective political appointee should sign up at Project2025.org NOW. Together, we are going to bring thousands of vetted, trained conservatives from across the country to Washington. The Project 2025 team has put together the right ingredients for the next presidential transition and I look forward to contributing to this effort. Let’s assemble the A-Team!”
Loyal to the end of the previous term. But I'm sure it's not true because you all said so

Trump's trusted people work for/with the heritage foundation, quoted saying it's the playbook they're going to use to implement policies. Agenda 47 has direct overlap with project 2025 and Trump has been caught letting multiple times about his knowledge about it and whose behind it, but somehow it's a leap to tie them all together....Trump: "I'm not affiliated with Project 2025, it's not my agenda, that's Agenda 47. Read about it here."
Project 2025: "We're not part of any candidate's platform, it's a suggested playbook."
