When I worked at DoD, the top general at USAF Material Command (or whatever it was called) came to the base and said the greatest threat to the US military was consolidation among weapons and airplane manufacturers.

Right, but there is a big difference, in that an entire judicial movement went on for about 50 years to overturn Roe, but really nobody is trying to overturn Obergefell, and no serious Republican politicians are advocating for turning it over. Trump himself was the first republican to be nominated that was pro gay marriage. The Obergefell decision in and of itself is a pretty poorly reasoned opinion, but again that's why we shouldn't legislate from the bench to make changes in the country.

Because the infrastructure to topple it wasn't in place. And that's in place now and we're now seeing courts moving thru the courts to potentially overturn obergefell

I guess I should just throw away my economics degree then, because I remember the very basic lesson that fewer competitors in an industry (due to corruption in the contracting process that exists in the military industrial complex) leads to higher prices.

You're speaking about regulation as a broad concept that promotes competition in the marketplace, and that just isn't true. There are competing economic schools of thought, but it generally depends on what the regulation is on whether or not it stifles or promotes competition. That being said, when the people who are creating the regulatory policy are corrupt, it's a moot point.

Trump's trusted people work for/with the heritage foundation, quoted saying it's the playbook they're going to use to implement policies. Agenda 47 has direct overlap with project 2025 and Trump has been caught letting multiple times about his knowledge about it and whose behind it, but somehow it's a leap to tie them all together....
