That’s me, 2 kids under 3. I’m going to make time to play hopefully but I won’t be grinding nearly as much as I once could
Single parent (Widower) with 3 kids and work 50 hours a week; I have this on pre-order. I will find time I think.Married with 2 kids, 15 yo and 9 yo. New job operating cranes that is at least 50 hrs a week and I can’t wait to rekindle the old NCAA football fire!
I’ve got four kids under ten and my son just turned 4. I’m excited to get this game and share it with him even if he can’t really “play” yet. It’ll be something I can do with him a bit, but then also sneak some time away in the evenings after the kids go to sleep and my wife is watching Love Island/Summer House.
There are women and children across this country that have no idea what their spouses and fathers used to be before the end of NCAA football. Many are going to see a very different man once this game comes out than they have ever experienced before. Grown ass men are going to be reduced to the temperament of 12 year old boys. This could lead to the down fall of civilization. EA has no idea the monster they are about to unleash on the world. I’m scared gentlemen. 🤣

This is EA Sports, though. That companion app is for nothing other than the ultimate team menu grind. The “I’m a parent and games need to be more parent friendly” is an actual movement in gaming these days. I think you’ll see things built in to future games to accommodate. Companion apps on phones already a part of this (FUT in es sports fc)
I mean it’s the first game in the series in 12 years. Let people be excited about, I’m most likely going to be too busy for it now with the kids work and my wife but that doesn’t mean im going to have my nose up in the air about those who can afford to spend time with itI'm disappointed more adult men aren't too busy to play this game.

If you guys want the pomp of college football for a little bit every week, don't pay me much mind. But if you are planning to play often, do not expect EA to help you do anything other than spend money through microtransactions. Non-revenue generating areas of the game will get less and less attention.
I think EA knows where their bread is buttered with this game. Dynasty just had an 80-page blog while the CUT Twitter account has posted 3 times and there's no info about what will encompass ultimate team in the game.
10 years down the road, yeah ultimate team stuff probably has a greater emphasis as the younger generation gets hooked. Right now though, I don't think many are paying attention to or care about microtransactions.

We will be! Do trust reality will set in by Halftime of the first game🤦🤦I'm disappointed more adult men aren't too busy to play this game.
I think you may not be paying attention to EA's history around games with UT. They have been at this for 15 years now, they will figure it out quickly. Go see how much support non-UT games modes get in other games that have it. Dynasty modes aren't unique to college football either. Go read about the disappointment year after year from players.
Every single thing offered outside of the base game is UT related...

But right now, dynasty is overflowing with new features and UT is pretty basic. At least give credit where its due.
Also, I do think college football dynasty is different to other games. We'll see how it goes.
It will take at least three years for EA to neglect dynasty so much that it breaks completely.
Madden has a huge issue with franchise-breaking bugs every time they have a new release, and then it takes them months to address them, if they ever do. My greatest fear is the same happens with dynasty in three or four years when they’ve parlayed NIL into Ultimate Team with enough of a profit margin.
If it happens to the CFB games… this version seems to have a dynasty deep enough to last us another 11 years like the last one did.
This is the beauty of making a statement that is open to interpretation.I mean it’s the first game in the series in 12 years. I think they said once you get enough xp you can unlock split trees and be a combo coach. To me it sounded like you can get 2/3.The trees were interesting to me. Seems to be a lot more skills/trees than in past games. I wonder if we'll be able to max a coach out, or if you'll be limited by how many skills you can accumulate?
