I personally think bettis could grow into nickel rover, I really see that as his only shot at pt on a very good team (or ST). I don’t think he has athleticism for wr or even safety

It's above zero but you'd be wise to take the field instead of that exact parlay.

The above scenario is exactly what I'm hoping for but my grandpa taught me stats & probabilities as a wee lad. Take the Field is skrong bookie math.

No one on this board has any hatred whatsoever for Bettis and everyone wants him to succeed. He is ranked as the 813th player and the 128th receiver. It is what it is, nothing more, nothing less. Also, we all hope he becomes a freshman all-American, but you are probably the only one on this board that hopes he leaves after his freshman year.

To your point, I think everyone is pretty realistic about him. We understand why he has a scholarship and are appreciative of his father’s contributions to the program. It’s fine.

I hope he proves the projections wrong but ND can always find some WRs in the portal. Again, it’s fine.

Yes there are better prospects at wr than Bettis.
Yes it is valuable to have a player like him on the roster.
You constantly beating a dead horse is just annoying. If he is the best receiver we get by signing day than have at it. Until then, let it go.

Just more proof how much of a creepy loser EJ is, he has mentioned multiple schools recently he isn’t allowed to go to to see recruits.
And I’m not talking about going to the school itself, I’m talking about he isn’t even allowed to go to the public games. LOL
He is banned from the HS campuses totally. He admits he has to go to away games to see recruits.
The funny part is he always says the schools are creepy or weird.
So he is banned from multiple schools, that every other reporter can go to, and he thinks it’s the schools who are the problem?

How creepy do you have to be to be banned from a HS football game, that is open to everyone. Basically child sex offenders and EJ Holland are the only people not allowed at the HS games.

EJ is gonna do and say what EJ is gonna do and say. I've never seen a recruiting reporter act in his professional manner. As mentioned, there are good reasons why he was been ostracized by schools and other reporters.

Kyle Kelly, Mike Singer, Ryan Roberts. Bryan Driskell, Shaun Davis, Eric Thomas, Kevin Sinclair have all said in their latest updates they thought ND led.
Even Jamie & Greg admitted that Christian & Matt thought ND led, but they didn’t think all would end up in the class. But they acknowledged that ND felt they led.

Not true on Robinson.

On Locked On Irish podcast on Wednesday or Thursday, he believes UCLA is out front.

It’s near unanimous, but not completely that all three are will be Irish.

If so, that’s funny because after he was on that show, and I had no idea he was even on that show, I got a text that just said, “Eric doesn’t know what he’s talking about,” from someone who would know. LOL
I haven’t watched it yet.

Robinson is interesting because of UCLA. I know Eric has said UCLA wants him to play defense, & he wants to play defense, and it’s home for him.
But then I’ve heard Robinson tell others he doesn’t care what position he plays. And some ND sources feel really good about him.

ND is definitely in the the top group for all 3 receivers but far from a clear leader for any of them (at least not in the way they are for guys like Blair and Madden). To be fair, I stick to II and ISD so I don't know what the others have said. At the end of the day, nobody knows who leads except the actual recruit (and some of them probably don't really know either) but it's fun to discuss.

ND made up a lot of ground with Robinson but was trailing leading up to the official visit. We'll see how the UCLA visit goes. Sinclair also mentioned multiple sources told him he preferred DB. Maybe ND is open to playing him at safety if Taylor decommits?

On their most recent recruiting podcast (I think it was a few days ago), Sinclair said nothing would surprise him about Meadows' decision except him going to Michigan (lol). So there's definitely some uncertainty there

Hines- top two is USC and ND per Sinclair. Both official visits went very well. Again, I don't think ND is a clear leader

Eric worked with ND. Seems to be good at evaluations but needs time to develop sources
