I'm a bit sick that USC now has the most Heismans again. Bush knew the rules and he broke them, doesn't matter if the rules changed two decades later. Should have revoked OJ's award too, lets be real. The Heisman shouldn't stand with murderers.

My unpopular take: we all saw Bush whoop our ass. He is no doubt one of the 5 players i have watched in cfb. He deserves the heisman

Meh, he was good, but he had a season low 82 yards against a better defense in Texas. Young should have gotten the Heisman. Reggie's numbers came against a bunch of weak PAC-12 defenses. Our defense wasn't exactly stellar under Weis either. I think Reggie would have gotten crushed in an SEC or B1G environment. Other than an couple decent seasons in Miami he didn't do much of note in the NFL although he kicked around for awhile.

I crushed that dude a few weeks back. He was out lying to folks acting like LSU wasn't the REAL 2003 NC's and that the BCS didn't strip them of their 2004 title. He also had no clue the last time SC won an outright title where the other team didn't have a better record and more services voting for SC was 1972. When I told him ND had won 3 outright... 4 if wee used Sothern Cal math since then, he lost his sheet.

I will be in the stands when SC makes it's first late Nov trip to Iowa, Wiscy or Mich St and gets beat 35-10 by a bad MSU/Wiscy team or 10-0 by an average Iowa team on 5 safeties.

They hired a really good DC this off-season. This won't be the Alex Grinch defenses of the last two years. And USC has a few dudes.

Funny I looked at his profile yesterday on 247 and thought man that's weird a 5-star defensive player out of GEORGIA is committed to USC. He probably thought the same thing.

USC had multiple 5 Star DL from Georgia/Southeast commit in the same week.

Nobody (outside of USC) thought they would stick.
They got paid to visit, and Aaron Donald was there, & they committed to him.

Now, unsurprisingly, one has already decommitted, & he won’t be the last.

Wow. Literally it's like their whole recruiting pitch is NIL and LA fun. They better put their big boy pants on quickly. The Big X has some real offensive and defensive lines that await. OU fans always felt Riley neglected the defense, as many were happy when he left.

The number 1 player in the country in the ‘26 class, a DL from Louisiana, was in LA last night at the Elite 11, & Pete Carroll was there following him around like a lost puppy, recruiting him to USC.

Kids like that will get caught up & commit. Then a few months later they will decommit.

It almost sounds like they are bringing former has beens to try to trick these kids into going there. Carroll probably has nothing better to do as Seattle didn't want him anymore. Have no clue what Aaron Donald is doing there as he want to school at Pittsburgh. Imagine him and Carroll may be getting coin out of this set up. Riley really is trying everything at this point. Good times.

I lived just outside of LA (San Marino) for about a decade during the Pete Carroll/USC-era and he was about as charismatic of a person as they come with public events and that's coming from someone who's been a ND fan since birth. Riley knows if he wants to up the game since NIL only goes so far, he's got the bring out the "pros" to win over recruits. Still...fuck SC
