People flying terrorist flags isn’t because we have not outlawed them. It’s because we have open borders, loose guidelines on who comes in and schools and institutions that hate the US and create this atmosphere. This is what happens in a multi cultured society.

One of my best friends I went to Mexico with this past weekend is from India. His wife, while one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen, was arranged for him. He is Hindu, hates gays but wants America to be open for all. I asked him on our trip if India should have open borders. He said no and his reason was that it would destroy what makes India India.

While in Mexico we planted a church and were in the process of introducing the new medical team. The team consisted of Mexican people and two Venezuelans. You wouldn’t believe the issues the locals had with two Venezuelan doctors basically almost volunteering their time for six months getting so much flack. I have done missions trips in Mexico, Philippines, Peru, and also Kenya. The locals are completely OK with you bringing them things and helping them out for a few weeks but things start to get weird when you stay longer. The big issue is how well you adapt to that culture. If you do not adapt or assimilate very well the locals will basically push you out. We started a facility in Kenya for orphan teenagers and eventually the person we had there was pushed out and it is now completely run by local Kenyons. While that should be the goal. They were not ready and the next trip we will probably have to go and start the process of shutting it down.

In my current W2 type job we do vetting for security clearances. From public trust tight positions all the way up to top-secret SCI security clearances. One of the criteria for getting a security clearance is foreign preference. Some of the investigators have started asking the question if your home country in the United States went to war whose side would you be on? The answers would blow your mind, especially for people entering the United States military. A lot of people from different countries are only joining the military because of the benefits, not because their love of country. And they will tell you that even during the vetting process.

Yes, people aren't coming here because they love the U.S.. They're coming here for free benefits and a job.

You want tax payer money spent on illegal immigrants to go to Israel? Seems like a waste to me.
Not as bad as some of the things we waste money on today. You could probably get the majority of them loaded on an Air Force C5 Galaxy. Load a pallet of Lunchables and Capri Suns on there and you can probably fly them there for under $25K.

Waste of money? For the $100 billions we couldn't wait to launder to the middle east this month you could spend $100,000 per person to deport 1 million people. JFC isn't that knob supposedly an accountant?

Start with the criminals and protestors and revoke a few student visas while we are at it. Permanent work visa for the ones that haven't caused problems with no option for citizenship if you entered this country illegally. Fix birthright like every other country on the planet too. Why does this have to be so hard?

I don't like blaming business for hiring - you should be able to operate under the assumption people in this country are legal. This is a failure of government, not the people.

Looks like there are several encampments set up at some universities. Instead of breaking these up, maybe the police should just encircle them and not allow any of them to leave their encampment. Once they run out of Dorito's and Mountain Dew they may have a different thought on protesting.

Totally butchered the FAFSA process rollout. Millions of students left in the lurch. Especially the potential incoming Freshman that are trying to make decisions on where to attend school, but lacking the financial information to make an appropriate decision. His department did have a lot to juggle though as he dealt with other priorities revolving around loan forgiveness.

Here's a portion of an article back in September of 2022 where he responds to all of the "concurrent initiatives" that FSA is dealing with.
Link to Article

Mr. Cordray’s remarks at NCAN's National Conference come at a very busy time for FSA. In addition to the routine processing of federal student aid and the opening of a new FAFSA cycle, FSA is also working through implementing FAFSA simplification—a longstanding and hard-fought for priority of NCAN’s.

Additionally, the Department of Education and FSA are also working on several major regulatory changes, the limited-time PSLF Waiver, return to repayment and debt cancelation for federal student loan borrowers. And this is not an exhaustive list.

In closing and when asked about FSA’s overwhelming concurrent initiatives, Mr. Cordray replied “We are trying to do a lot of things at once, we want to do them well, and it is taxing us to the utmost.” While he admitted there is a “full plate” afoot for FSA, Mr. Cordray expressed confidence that his team will meet the moment.

Clearly his team didn't meet the moment. Clearly he had other competing priorities.

Always used to think Kennedy was an anti-vaxer and a conspiracy theorist, but the more I listen to him talk, he seems like a completely normal person to me. Will be very interesting to track his campaign, as he is polling as the highest third party candidate since Perot.

That's who I'm voting for.

Given the dislike for Biden and Trump, he will probably get a lot of votes. Unfortunately I don't see it being enough.

That's part of the Hillary playbook, take a small fact and exaggerate it so far that it's no longer fact. Anything to tear down a candidate.
For the record, I know very little of Kennedy as a person or politician.

Yup. There's just not enough money or power backing a 3rd party at this point in time, and there probably never will be. I think we'd need to see an independent party gain a lot of seats in Congress before a legitimate presidential candidate could win and they would have to be very influential with cash behind them. Trump is probably the closest any outsider will get considering he switched parties and had absolutely no previous political experience.
