Couldn’t pass up the opportunity to take a shot, huh?
Nothing to be sorry about. I wasn’t a big fan of his music but seemed like a down-to-earth guy. Huge football fan (Dallas Cowboys & OU). But when I saw the recent Clint Eastwood movie (The Mule?) I heard a song at the end of the flick called “Don’t Let the Old Man In” and thought it was pretty poignant. I highly doubt he wrote the tune but it really appealed to an old guy like me."Ray Charles stood motionless."
LOL. I'm sorry, but I found way funnier than it probably is.
Gun to my head, I could not name a single Toby Keith song. (Checked Spotify and I'd still be dead).
Cancer is the worst.
Pretty sure it’s bullshit considering Keith was a lifelong Democrat.Couldn’t pass up the opportunity to take a shot, huh?
Mr. John Chuma passed away yesterday. He was a local baseball coaching legend. He helped so many young men (and women) with the game. He coached Little League, Teener League, Legion, high school, softball, ran the halftime club for high school football, was an Elk.... Just an all time great community man. He was always game to talk sports, especially baseball. You could have an hour conversation with him and it felt like 10 minutes. I was so very fortunate to know him, and learn from him. Many in our area feel the same way.
RIP Mr. Chuma

Cool. That's kind of different and unique. There are a lot of great democrats as well as republicans.
I liked Toby. He was a scrappy overachiever who was told he wasnt good looking enough, fit enough or had a good enough voice. Ill miss that democrat. The leftists are the ones who lose me.

Lefty Drisell legendary coach at Maryland passed at 92. He had some talented teams.
I don't care for country music at all really, so I can't really name any of Keith's songs either...except this one. I think it transcends country music though
[EDIT] Wow, every version of this song appears to have been pulled from Youtube in the last few days.
Don't know how well it holds up over time, but Porky's was hilarious when it came out. Porky's II didn't come close. Ganios was in Die Hard IIRC.Tony Ganios, the actor who played Meat in the Porky's movies, died earlier this week of heart failure at the age of 64.

Jees, I wouldn’t figure that from that sound bite.I had the opportunity to work with Ole years ago… he was not a nice or friendly human.
So what you’re saying is his shtick wasn‘t an act.I had the opportunity to work with Ole years ago… he was not a nice or friendly human.
They've said a lot of the greats were just extensions of themselves in the ring.So what you’re saying is his shtick wasn‘t an act.
