There are a dozen threads on the Washington site about how much he sucks over the years & is too slow & no instincts to play Safety.
Kid has been BENCHED MULTIPLE times. Notice the fact he hasn’t played a full season at Washington, because he keeps getting yanked & sat.
They literally have film breakdown of him messing up over & over.
He and Foskey signed at the same time & all the Washington fans talk about is how ND was lucky.
Kid is not playing the position he should. He has been getting sat by multiple different coaches there.
Not counting the Covid season of 2020, he lost his spot and was sat every season.

Me saying he's turning out to be pretty good is about last year rise. He didn't lose his spot last year, he missed 3 games due to injury. He played the year before with broken ribs and a broken bone in his shoulder. Both years he came back and retook his starting spot The fact that he got any clock at all early in his career (not to mention starts) is a testament to having some tools. UDub was loaded on the back end when he go there.
As far as his position, he doesn't have the mentality to live in the box and with Dom Hampton there, that's covered. With their roster and scheme, he's the best option at FS. Barring injury, I'm expecting those two to have solid years.
As far as the Foskey mention, you'll be hard pressed to find anyone who didn't think Foskey was the better get out of those two.
