Oh I hope we don’t meet them in the CFP next year. They are sure to be full strength then and with the threat of the all time series going 3-1 the pressure will be immense and it’s hard to tell who will blow a gasket under that pressure, and one thing is for certain the beavers will have strong running backs.

That was a great game for us. I'm glad ND took it seriously. Hopefully we learned some things so we will be ready if we have to play them again next year in the CFP and can even up the all time series against them.

Who the hell cares about announcer slips? I'd rather watch and enjoy the ballgame ... who needs itty-bit "perfection" about shallow things?

The only thing which separates good announcing from mediocre announcing is whether the "color analyst" can break down plays and strategies as they happen. Danielson was pretty good at that. The only thing for me that creates a bad announcer is some form of anti-team prejudice (a la Flutie or worse.) Danielson has had glimmers of that in his recent career, but not yesterday. The rest of these "intolerable" imperfections resemble objections what gossips chirp about. As to the game announcer (can't even remember his name), why focus on him instead of getting into the play of the game itself?

.... I just had a moment of revelation ... why the hell am I bothering to even type about this meaningless crap? Apologies.

It’s definitely trivial and of no consequence, but just comes across as extremely lazy and unprofessional.

It was clear neither did any preparation before the game looking at rosters and season storylines to have talking points that weren’t just vague and non-descript nuggets.

Most people would be fired for showing up the day of a big presentation they are facilitating if they had no idea what the agenda even is.

Could this post be more passive-aggressive? I’m sure ND is worried about what happened in the Davie/Willingham era & is making it their goal to avenge losses that occurred before most of the current roster was born. ND fans get a lot of shit for living in the past but the haters need to realize that the late 90s-early 00s are part of the past now, too.

Colzie was in at the end.
What a bummer of a lost year for him. I still maintain that with a healthy Thomas and Colzie our passing game would've been light years better than it was. I do hope he sticks around. So much potential.

Everyone knows those 2 in the booth hate us. It's not trivial, It's blatant disregard for our young, and Impressionable guys.

If they at least acted the part... None of Us.. would get salty about their disdain.

Good luck to you guys. Gonna be tough to make the CFP out of the MWC

Strangely enough I think Oregon St and Wash St have a surprisingly good chance of making the playoffs. They have to choose one group of 5 team and those two are the closest to a power 5 roster you're going to see at that level. They should handle the 6 mountain west teams they are to play. No idea who their other games are going to be except they will play each other and their in state rivals. Could be an easy path for the head to head winner to that 12th seed.

Interesting point, but I think their roster is in shambles right now

His lax repertoire is definitely on display. Watch his initial jab step and split and then his roll dodges in traffic which are what happens when you’re dodging the “slide” or double team. He’s got great body control and spatial awareness.
Should all our receivers play lacrosse

Not sure of his game log, but bowl games don't count

Yeah. Colzie can redshirt this season. I just mean I hope he doesn't transfer elsewhere. At this point I'd guess he at least gives it a go in spring ball and sees where things stand then.

Disappointed Colzie wasn’t involved. I was hoping he was legit
