Marion would be a perfect coach for Riley Leonard tbh. The system is made for someone like him as well as Love. And with his two backs we would get to see all of our backs play and be happy. I just think it would be a one year thing.

Casey Woods, SMU OC and TE coach, 2 yrs experience as an OC at SMU, was TE coach and recruiting coordinator at Mizzou before that.

Many good ones out there, tho.

I'd worry that Lashlee is the offensive brains of that operation.

If we're going Mizzou-affiliated OC candidates, give me Kirby Moore.

Looking like it may be Denbrock based on ISD.. like they are kinda hinting that he is the first call and preferred candidate and him and Freeman are buddies

I could be wrong, but I think it was discussed at length earlier that the name go go isn't what it appears. It's actually a run first offense and wasn't all that hurry up. Example, they averaged only 6 or so plays per game more than ND and weren't in the top 50
I think the name confuses people when it is just called that because he was in DC when he made it (where Go Go music came from)

This would be a terrific hire.
Convince me why. I dont know much about him but his offense had some very pedestrian performances against some very meh teams with a very good QB..

13 pts against ECU
21 pts vs Souther miss
24 pts vs tulsa
24 pts vs FAU
29 pts vs utsa
14 pts vs SMU

CJ has been practicing with the team for less than a week and is looking down the barrel of the third OC since he committed. Warm and fuzzies all around.

Think we could convince Collin Klein to pull a Manny Diaz and come here after he just accepted the A&M job? lol

I'm gonna throw a fucking fit. I just want to break out of this high floor, low ceiling structure that ND imposes upon itself.

It makes for winning a lot of games against mediocre competition, sure, but it's satisfying only to a point. They can never truly become great in that paradigm.

You don’t want the guy who just had an all world offense with the heisman winning QB? He’s been at ND before and knows the university. I think he would be a pretty damn good hire, that being said I don’t think he takes it unless he really wants to come back to the Midwest

No. I got tired of seeing them pass out of shotgun 3x while inside the 5yd line the last time he was at ND.

I know the ND and Cincinnati connections feel like the same old thing but I wouldn't be apoplectic about getting the OC who helped turn Jayden Daniels into the Heisman winner.

I think Denbrock’s resume is very strong. The best Kelly offenses were his at ND. He did a good job with Ridder ar Cincinnati and his time at LSU produced more than anyone could have possibly expected.

I wouldn’t mind seeing Leonard run the Jayden Daniels offense.

Denbrock makes sense. Deland and Gino being Co-OC with Gino calling plays would be fine by me too. I really want Vince Marrow to be TE coach cause that guy is an amazing recruiter but he's been at Kentucky for a while. Hopefully this is the last change to the staff...

TAMU reportedly wanted to make Denbrock the highest paid OC in college football and he turned them down.
