Yea, I'm not sure anyone is pulling Kincaid's, limited, blocking film to highlight it.

But, TBF, Kincaid just hasn't been used that much, in that capacity, by the Bills. He spends a lot of time flexed out.

Mayer is definitely a good blocker, the film shows it. His film the last year showed it as well. The problem is he was also our main receiver last year, we asked a lot of him. If you look at Bowers' highlights and LaPorta/Kincaid none of them really had blocking as part of their film because they were subpar. Mayer is a complete TE.

Fuck no he’s a terrible blocker. Laporta as a rookie is way way superior to Hock was as a vet. Nobody in Detroit misses Hock

Not necessarily. Honestly I hope he does get traded to a team where he can be the #1 guy and they use their TEs well, but Las Vegas' new coach has shown he likes his TEs and he likes 2 TE sets. The other thing to consider is Bowers is no blocker, Mayer has proven himself in that regard. They could keep Mayer for his versatility since he's a true TE, but as mentioned I hope he gets sent somewhere where he'll be the #1 target.

Very common for tight ends in the NFL to not get second contracts from the team that drafted them.
At this point, it would be the best thing for him to find another home this off season, and become that number one.
Of course, very early days of the season…but it looks like Bowers will be eating up all his targets.

The Colts, among other things, could use him. Their TE position is garbage right now.
