“Lets see what he does with a great QB at Notre Dame”

Something I never thought to myself since ever.

Very solid #2. Mitchell + Collins should be our best duo since 2018 Boykin + Claypool, and I think Greathouse has a solid shot at being better than Beaux in ‘24.

Add in Faison, Jayden, and the best freshman WR class in recent memory, and this is very quickly our deepest room in awhile, regardless of WR transfer #3.

I'd still like one more just because as high as I am on the incoming freshmen, you never know what you've got until they get here. Not to mention we could use another player with experience on the outside.

But honestly, they could call it quits here and/or find it hard to add a third and I wouldn't blame them.

This is where I am at. If someone legit wants in, cool. If it is someone who isn’t clearly better than Greathouse, Thomas, Faison, then no thanks

We're gonna be in a MUCH better spot website the season with proven production at every spot. Collins solidifies that.

An awesome addition, welcome Beaux!

Not to be a downer but I don’t see him or Mitchell as true #1s but high end #2s. Certainly an upgrade over what was had the last 3 years. Hopefully one of the top 5 in these 2, Greathouse, Thomas, and Faison can emerge as a true #1
I agree about him being a high end 2. That’s a heck of a lot better than what we had this year though - that was a bunch of #3’s at best

Solid is much better than what left, besides Rico
Tyree was more than solid. He was a big play threat. You can argue your subjective opinions about his wiggle and breaking tackles all you like.

In his first and only full season at WR, he averaged 18yds/rec. I’d much rather have that on the roster and use a TE for what Beaux Collins does.

He wasn't. He had 26 catches and 3 TDs, and multiple game changing drops and fumbles.

The slot position will be better next year and getting Beaux will be part of the reason, allowing JG and Fiason to be in the slot full time.

You should be comparing Collins to Tobias. I would take Collins over Tobias, 100 times out of 100.

Tyree should be compared to Faison and Greathouse. And it’s pretty easy to see that both freshmen have a higher ceiling than Tyree.

Haha, Collins had 3 TD’s last year.

And, he needed 12 more receptions to get 26 more yards.

And playing with a much worse QB and OL.

You started the year angry at people for telling you Merriweather wasn't going to be good and are now poopoping picking up a 6'3, 200 LB experienced WR. May want to sit WR talk out for a bit, respectfully.

If Beaux is your 4th best WR, thats a pretty good room. Mitchel, Fiason, JG/Thomas.

Totally agree, overall an upgrade. I agree with Sampson, who recently said ND had a bunch of #3s on the roster in 2023
