Next year has the potential to be our best 1-2 tandem at corner since when? 2018? 2015?

Very interesting…

I’ll tell you what, boys, I think if we keep the coaching staff largely together, yeah they have warts, but continuity means something, next year might be special…

I think this may be good news, but.... That shoulder makes me question how long ir can hold out until it forces him to be done playing.
The other thing is that he's limited in the pass game in that he's not a ball hawk. So if he can't use his size and physicality, he'll not make any game changing plays when therw ballI'd in the air.
Just happy the young man is betting on his future, hopefully walking away with a couple degrees.

Was expecting this to be a transfer announcement bump. He could use the extra year. He has the perfect body for a prototype NFL CB, IMO.

This is really great news. Our DB position group is going to be really strong for the foreseeable future.

I do wonder how this effects the sophomore class of DBs though. I see some transfers there but this is a great trade off.

Walters hasn’t traveled to away games this year. II guys noted a walk on safety dressed for USC game and not Walters. I would expect 3 of 4 current sophomore DBs to transfer or medical.

What a miss when considering Gee and JoJo Johnson also processed. Aupiu and Schweitzer were misses. Kia left on mission.

That leaves the defensive class hanging on Rubio, Onye, Kollie. Ouch.

“I don’t think people understand the relationship me and Cam have been able to build,” Morrison said. “I look up to him, to be honest with you. He doesn’t understand the influence he has on me, the impact he has on me. That dude — no one will understand.

Coming in he was a little harder on me because I think he saw potential,” Morrison said. “He was really hard on me. But then, as the year went on, it was more so, ‘Hey, little brother.’ I’m really grateful for him. I’m happy I get to spend another year with him.”

Louisville - He was beat, he just reached in desperation trying to slow him down.

USC - Very intentional, punched the ball right out.

He has another year of elgibility left does he use it?
No chance. He's had a couple years of getting banged up (can't recall how often his shoulder has bothered him). Expecting a 5th year who's had NFL ambitions and is playing very well to come back for a 6th year is a bit much imo.

He’s had three shoulder surgeries but yeah, it would be great if he came back (I certainly don’t expect it either).

Good for Cam. I hope he can stay healthy through the whole process.
