My bet would be that it was Auburn
I imagine his brother takes care of him.Dumb, take the money. May not come again
It actually was that cow college in “west” Gawga. He was originally at Bama but transferred to Maryland so I doubt if it was Bama coming back for a second round (although I guess it’s always possible).
Why anyone would consider going to Florida between this and Rashada is baffling.
I'm pretty sure Big League Advance isn't a Florida thing. Its actually been around in baseball for a while. Hence "Big League".
Its basically selling equity in yourself. It works well in the baseball model with the idea that the money could help a player make the majors because they can use the money to get better food, not have to sleep on a couch in a crowded apartment, and just generally have a better developmental environment than what the minors and their sub-minimum wages offer you.
In this case, this guy was an idiot for agreeing to the deal when he was already draft eligible and it would be a net negative for him as soon as he signed if picked in the first two rounds, especially when Florida is probably providing a pretty high level training environment and living conditions.
I’ve definitely noticed that ol’ Jimmy has been spending a bit more recently on recruiting wins, it makes a lot of sense they went after Taulia. It actually was that cow college in “west” Gawga.
The $ from Auburn’s big time guys was intentionally cut off during the Harsin debacle. Yellawood finally got what he wanted and started spending again. They missed on little Tua but have had more success on the trail recently.
Pay the players
That makes sense. TJ Lindsey was supposedly handed $50k in cash when he visited Auburn. Soon after, he transferred to IMG for his SR season and committed to Auburn. It actually was that cow college in “west” Gawga.

I think they will and you will see more, if not all; coaches start flipping rosters for lack of performance like Deion did. If they’re getting paid, no one can cry foul. This is CFB’s version of Moneyball IMO. After Riley and now especially after Deion, HC will have to follow suit to compete.
Yeah I kind of get that for baseball prospects, but giving up 15 percent of your lifetime earnings for $430,000 upfront seems like a bad bet, especially for a guy who was a second-round draft pick coming from a big-time college football program. It's a money loser for him if he makes more than $3 million in the NFL. Really he should sue his agent.I'm pretty sure Big League Advance isn't a Florida thing. Reading more into this, every player is just getting a 6 month lease. I mean it’s better than nothing, but this comes to roughly $4000/player, not $60K
They can't...but it didn't come directly from the schoolI thought money/gifts couldn't come directly from the school?
