Only a total Fn idiot would say that and act as though the TD run was a mistake. Dumbass thing to say and worrisome.Did you hear Freeman saying we were setting up for a field goal? That would've ended in disaster
He is part of the jock sniffing pre school bunch that shows up after a tough win to call us all losers for emoting in the game day thread. Most of which I have cordially invited to eat a dick but unfortunately they are such professionals at it that they swallow up quick are right back to playing thought police and karen on the rest of us. But guess its just because you me and the other 80% of the board obviously never played organized sports.Haha, internet tough guys
Is that James Taylor? Some days you kill it. Some days you don’t. Some days you blast off. Some days you just smoke….
I was so confused when we came out in shotgun, again and again. Missing 2 receivers does not excuse how flawed the offensive game plan was. And Porker made zero adjustments.I don’t go back in re-watch anymore but live I felt like we had some good initial blocking upfront but those damn plays took so long to get off.
All they needed to do, which they did early in the season, was get Hartman under C so Estime could get downhill sooner.
If he stays loyal to them, he won't summit the mountain. If he makes the changes he needs to make, then we know we have the ball coach that this team has been needing for a long time.
No one likes Duke except Duke grads. They attract all the elites from the Northeast who think it’s cool to go to a southern school. Duke is the Myrtle Beach of academic schools.
We won. Great. Sincerely great. Never want to see our guys lose.
Winning is hard. True.
But, this team has serious issues. From the top down. There's a ton to cleanup and improve on if they are going to have a chance to run the table.
Golden is not the problem. Sure the defense isn't perfect, and for sure I' not thrilled with the tackling, but the defense is much improved this year. Parker started off strong, and I still wasn't upset with how he called the OSU game, just too mnay player mistakes, but he was unimpressive tonight for sure. What we are seeing on the coaching staff is an inexperienced head coach make mistakes with both of his coordinators, for different reasons, and the looming, career-defining decision on whether he finally bites the bullet and finds better options. It's hard to do mid-season, but MFMF needs to make the hard choices as soon as the season is over.

I am at a conference and couldn't watch the whole game live. Gutsy win on the road though for the boys. Go Irish.
Easily becoming my favorite player.Negatives:
Counter trey can work against teams that are aggressively rushing up field, but a team aggressively squeezing down the line and beating you to your spots on pulls it will not. Parker should know the difference and make a change in run play calls. He kept calling it like he expected it to eventually hit big but we’re here struggling just to get first downs and get our defense off the field. They were most definitely gassed by the start of the 4th because they were out there saving our ass the whole game and the tackling started to show for it. I blame our late game defensive woes squarely on Parker.
I hate having a kicker we can’t trust to hit chip shots. I don’t give a shit he can hit bombs. Glad Audric snatched the game from his hands (feet?).
We definitely earned our share of penalties, but it’s pretty awful when I’m making outlandish claims because the way the game had gone like “I bet they pick up the PI flag” and lo and behold. And a review booth that doesn’t even know what they can review and clearly has no grounds to overturn the call on the field? *insert Jackie Chan confused face*
Some positives?
- Mitchell Evans? Dog.
- Sam Hartman? Dog.
- Jeremiah Love? Dog.
- Audric Estime? Still a dog.
- Xavier Watts? Dude is a dog.
- Howard Cross? The Third? Dog.
Refs and an entire network slobbing on Duke, injuries, and bad play calling on offense couldn’t stop these boys from walking into Duke’s Cinderella superbowl and driving a dagger through their heart.
As always, remember that winning ain’t easy. And we got the W. Go Irish!
I don't agree. I know we are piling on Tobias but I thought he was trying hard to get to it.
