Hopefully that's for 2025 and it's fisher in 24. Fisher has played good this year but he's had too many BAD moments on film to probably warrant coming back and improving strength/size/consistencyGuerby, Jaguash, and Amail we should be able to find a LT
He can definitely play LT in college. He has played some LT over the last few years and I figured they'd move him to LT this year since last year's LT is now at Cornell. Not sure why they didn't move him over, but his HC is the best HS coach in Massachusetts history so I'll defer to him. What's interesting is their 2nd best lineman, who chose Harvard over some FBS schools, also plays on the right side (RG).great pick up for ND but as highly ranked as this kid is why does he play RT on his high school team and not LT. is ND recruiting him to play LT or RT?

He's a righty and their QB the last few years was a righty as well.Is their QB left handed?
If they are a run first team, it would make sense to play him at RT. A lot of teams run to their right, so have your dudes there makes senseHe can definitely play LT in college. I thought they'd be more of a run team this year since their QB and skill guys are all new and are pretty much all underclassmen but they threw the ball 20+ times in just 2.5-3 quarters in their first game. The score got out of hand so they pulled their starters. They played a team from Florida last week so I'm not sure how much they ran the ball but their RB who has a BC offer may have suffered a season-ending injury so I'm not sure how that will impact their play-calling going forward. If they are a run first team, it would make sense to play him at RT. The path to a Natty for Freeman might not be 5 top 50 recruits like this. But, 10-15 top 200 recruits, every cycle, like this. And, they are out there. Just have to have a better success rate on landing them than BK did.Glad to have him officially on board! Some thoughts on Guerby:
-This was never really in doubt according to people I know who are close to his HS program.
-He's an outstanding young man and will be a great representative for Notre Dame on and off the field.
-He's by no means a finish product since he's relatively new to football, but his ceiling is about as high as it gets.
-He currently plays RT but he can definitely play LT as he has the size and athleticism. My guess is he winds up at LT at ND, and he has played some snaps at LT the last few years.
-Although I believe he was always headed to ND, this is a recruitment where it didn't hurt that other elite academic institutions (Stanford, NW, etc.) are down. If we were battling the Stanford of 8-10 years ago where they were a top 10 program it could've been a more interesting recruitment as they would've been able to sell a top-tier program with elite academics.
-You hear a lot of recruits talk about the importance of academics and then don't necessarily back that up with the school they choose. Guerby is a young man who genuinely cares about academics. If there were 5 more young men like Guerby who were top 50 recruits in this class we'd probably get all of them.
Maybe his team has a left handed QB.great pick up for ND but as highly ranked as this kid is why does he play RT on his high school team and not LT. is ND recruiting him to play LT or RT?
AND, a stud QB. It's well documented how a QB peaked really their first season starting under kelly, then regressed. That can't happen. The path to a Natty for Freeman might not be 5 top 50 recruits like this. But, 10-15 top 200 recruits, every cycle, like this. And, they are out there. Fair points 88. But since a silent is speculative at best, it’s a waste to speculate whether a silent is legit or not. In this case there may have been a silent given earlier since he has now verbally committed. But many Solent’s don’t verbal. It’s all speculation on supposed communications between staff and a teenage athlete. In general, good luck with that. The problem with your logic is not that a verbal is more ideal than a silent commitment. It’s that you didn’t fully consider the uniqueness of the young man in this profile, nor did you allow for the staff to have learned from previous errors with athletes who had greater influences that were clearly beyond academic. Both are related. Yes, there are trends in recruiting to consider. However, it’s important to keep in mind that athletes are not a one-size-fits-all, and part of the challenge in recruiting is the nuance required to make a home away from home finally feel like home. ND and GL executed this to perfection, and the timing was a strong statement. The next goals become official signing and successful coaching up. Exciting times.
If Fisher wants to go pro in '24, this is the week to prove he's ready.Hopefully that's for 2025 and it's fisher in 24. Fisher has played good this year but he's had too many BAD moments on film to probably warrant coming back and improving strength/size/consistency

It Jamie U says that could be the ceiling, I'm sold.Solid message board value add right here
Ronnie Stanley has arm length in the 92nd percentile. Hands are on 85th percentile. That’s pretty good for NFL OTs. LolRyan Roberts & Driskell said Stanley was his best comp way back & I thought they might have been a little too hyperbolic.
This week they broke down why, & I’m getting on board.
One thing Driskell said, was that a source at ND told him the length of Lambert’s arms & he doesn’t want to repeat it because he can’t verify it, but it was a ridiculous length if true.
That was one of the reasons he compares him to Stanley.

Stop being so humble. Which one is you?Just in case we get to page 19, wanted to make sure that these three cats stay fresh on the brain. Every time I click onto the last page, this is what I see and I won't lie, they're Dancing Like A Champion Today. And we are all better for it.

For Lambert, the recruiting process was difficult, because he had so many good choices. In the end, he picked Notre Dame. “It’s going to challenge me academically,” Lambert said. “It’s going to set me up for the next 40 years, but also it’s going to challenge me on the football field, as well.”
