Yeah, it obviously didn't keep him from being incredibly effective. But football football is a violent sport so I think it is notable that an all-time great defender lacked violence in his game.
Despite his lack of violence, NFL OCs back in the 1990s found him to be a major pain in the ass to game plan against.

He was a lockdown cornerback that scored 19 non offensive touchdowns, including 9 interceptions returned for TDs out of 53 in his career. That's one non violent problem for just about any era of football.

The Buffs have played one game against a team that lost a ton of players from last year and was over ranked and now he's on his way to a NATTY and a premier job? This all could very well happen, but let's let the chili simmer some before we taste it.
It's way too early for the carousel to be moving already. I'm sure a few dudes are going to be gone by the end of the month, but at most any random team in the country has played two games so far. It's the week after Labor Day.

Will it be an exception or the norm....
I think this is the norm for a TCU defense. They gave up a ton of points last year. If not for the fumble at the goal line in the Michigan game, they would have given up 50+ to both playoff teams. What is really interesting if you look at last year’s schedule, how awful Texas and Oklahoma both were.

I got this one from Niketown on Michigan Ave. It was massive. Just about went from ceiling to floor.

This was the other one.
Costacos Bros. posters covered my dorm room in the late 80s. The Bo poster was one of many along w/ Eric Davis .44 Magnum, Bash Brothers, Kirk Gibson Big Game Hunter & the one w/ Griffey SR & JR.

Jordan- wings and bo Jackson-bo knows were my 2 favs
I had the Bo Knows poster. It is still a classic. Had I known how much Nike posters would be worth today, I would’ve saved them all. Go look on eBay what they’re going for. Jordan & Bo are not surprisingly expensive but even dudes like Dale Murphy, Steve Sax & Moses Malone go for big bucks.

I was a Manager of a Finish Line store when a lot of this stuff was hot. I used to take the Nike promotional stuff home after we used it in the store. I had one heck of a collection of very rare stuff - I had a NIKE swoosh sign, the background was the color of the boxes and simply had a giant swoosh on it - t was 6' x 6' - super cool/I had some Jordan mobiles that were very cool/had a ton of Agassi promo stuff too. I started giving it away to people in the early 00's when the collectable market wasn't doing great and now I see what I could have been making on it if I had kept it...Ugh.

There's some truth here as well.

Yeah I crack up when I see all the hate narratives,… everyone was curious and interested but even those I saw predicting a tough year were openly stating he’d turn it around at some point. This, ‘everyone wants him to fail’ stuff is another in a long line of made up narratives

I’m fine with the players having this me against the world stuff to fire themselves up but at some point just play. I listened to shaddeuer for like 2 seconds and it’s getting old. They are a D1 college football team. I feel like they are using the Trump playbook and chirping back at all the haters just to stay on the front page.
