Certainly missed some tackles against TSU, especially early, and the QBs evaded the pressure for the most part though the rush did force a few mistakes. Was nice to see Botelho get home for a sack. Then there was the abysmal tackling on the KR towards the end of the first half. And the targeting penalty....definitley need to fine tune the tackling a bit before Saturday.
Payton Wilson seems like he’d fit right in with our LB corps. We recruited him.
The Louisville game wasn’t as bad IMO. I think 3 of his turnovers were fumbles as he was trying to evade the rush. His OL completely broke down and they still almost won the game.

Shouldn’t be because of the forming hurricane, it will still be too far out in the Atlantic but may be a factor next week. The rain chance isn’t expected to be severe and not windy. The earlier start time should help in this case with the rain chances increasing as the day goes on.

If you don't have XM radio but already have peacock, you could probably just stream the game on the Peacock app, and listen to it through bluetooth, so you're not subscribing to XM on a monthly basis. Just an alternative.

im not sure the defense is as good as the stats show. against UTS ND only had 1 sack and had very few havoc plays. i have my doubts that the defense will all of a sudden improve against better competition.
Kinda expect NC state to start out really doing extra to slow down our run game therefor making us throw the ball. Need hartman to keep balling out and oline to protect well. NC State knows they can't win if they can't slow down our run game. Only question is how early do they put the extra hat in the box.
I agree with this. I have not seen the DL doing their job either setting the edge or creating consistent pressure. I also haven't seen anyone in the front 7 tackle consistently or look fast in the open field.
