^This. I have been saying he reminds me of Anquan Boldin since I watched his high school film.
Not a burner. Big bodied and good hands. If he can play the middle of the field like Boldin did, he’ll have a great career.

What a weapon he is. With Hartman I think he’s due for a huge year this year

FWIW my viewing of the USN game re-convinced me that Thomas is the perfect WR for Sam --- good disciplined routes and big strong catch radius walling off defenders. Sam can see the spot easily with him, and it's no problem for Sam to put the ball exactly on target. Jayden's strength and discipline will then grab it. It's almost like throwing to Mayer a little further down the field. I see a lot of TDs from the red zone here. ... but what do I know? Probably jinxed the whole thing.

I'm okay with it seems like Flores and Greathouse are the only two WR's stepping up the last two weeks.

The problem is Colzie and Thomas play the same position while Flores and Greathouse each play different spots with different routes. They can't just fill in unfortunately. They are also both great blockers. I suspect Braylon James and Jordan Faison are going to step in. James has 4 games to play and he's needed for this stretch so they might as well use one of those games here.

They'll have four scholarship WRs for at least this week, so they have to figure something out.
