Lost track of that kid. Thought he had potential at Mike. Guess not
Hopefully we actually have an offense and QB this year that can exploit “horrible” defenses.Their defense is atrocious
Eh. Sometimes. Other times they lose a game or two and quit. Maybe I'm spoiled after the last decade but USC doesn't scare me anymore. Yes they have weapons but if you beat them in the trenches, they fold. And that's what we're built to do.Our special teams better get ready for him. USC does seem to get better as the season goes on; maybe we use the 2005 Weis strategy and pound the ball mixed in with short to med.-range passes and run down the clock and keep Williams off the field.
Or we just don’t let the colossal prick run around like a Junior All American qb and win easilyOur special teams better get ready for him. They returned 9/11 starters (including all of their starting DL) from a top 3 rushing defense that held ND to 66 rushing yards last season.Their defense is atrocious
Because USC committed entirely to forcing Drew Pyne to beat them with his arm. They returned 9/11 starters (including all of their starting DL) from a top 3 rushing defense that held ND to 66 rushing yards last season.
NGL, I was thinking this was the Navy thread lolBecause USC committed entirely to forcing Drew Pyne to beat them with his arm.
That strategy isn't going to work against Hartman.
I was about to admonish you until I remembered how hot the average USC chick is. I guess some things are worth compromising on 😉except when my SC alumnus wife is around
Hartman showed at Wake and now in an irish uni that he can play with any top QB in the nation and so that strategy doesn't seem be the way to go and plus we'll slow down that USC offense if Cam Hart is playing with Morrison unlike the last game with the trojans. Our special teams better get ready for him. Yeah, I already saw posts about him dancing in the pocket while his OL was holding again and then he makes a play "It's unfair how good he is!" Barf!Reading Twitter today, Williams has already won the Heisman.
One important takeaway gleaned from fall camp practice reports were some of those sub package groupings that had Botelho, Sneed, Liufau on the edge rushing the passer.Yeah, I already saw posts about him dancing in the pocket while his OL was holding again and then he makes a play "It's unfair how good he is!" This goes for every team on the schedule. This is the way for this football team.We need to treat them like Michigan has treated OSU the last two years.
Run right at them, be the tougher team, and kill the clock to keep the skill talent off the field.
we have as much skill as they do and so why should we try to kill the clock. this isn't the Charlie Wies vs Pete Carrol days where USC had way more speed and overall better athletes than us. can't be afraid of a team you should beat at home in primetime. We need to treat them like Michigan has treated OSU the last two years.

There's a reason why he's not there anymore#90 won a National Championship last season.
Uh, sure. Because Georgia is definitely not going to pony up the cash for somebody who's worth it.Yeah, the bag.
Sure. I'm sure those are reason why Georgia didn't care that he left or wasn't willing to match the bag.Uh, sure. Because Georgia is definitely not going to pony up the cash for somebody who's worth it.
Had nothing to do with skipping practice to leave the country or getting into fights with coaches and actual fist fights with players or being an all-around locker room cancer.
Because nothing demoralizes a team more than getting the ball crammed down their throats when they know it's coming and they can't stop it.we have as much skill as they do and so why should we try to kill the clock. this isn't the Charlie Wies vs Pete Carrol days where USC had way more speed and overall better athletes than us. can't be afraid of a team you should beat at home in primetime.
