The losers are the innocent Russian civilians now dealing with financial crisis while the Russian elite wage unnecessary land wars. I feel bad that these peoples' lives are suffering at the hand of their government.

The vast majority of Russians have always suffered under Putin. It’s an extremely poor country. One former CIA agent described it as “a giant trailer park with nukes.”

All news agencies inside and outside of Russia are saying dead. The official Wagner telegram channel is reporting he is dead

Putin wouldn’t have. But the Wagner guy would’ve had incentive to stage his own death if he thought Putin would take him out.
