On a related note, Mickey Marotti is often viewed as the gold standard of S&C coaches but I think Lou was right that OSU has become soft the past few years.
Like every other coach, I suspect the messaging may get stale after a few years.
Not saying it's good Ballis left because there is no indication that the players were tuning him out, but a new voice in the locker room may not be the worst thing in the world.
