Mason Plummet @ Mike Singer & asked him “why do your boys hate Carr?”

Mason was an intern for that Driskell hired to work for him.
Stu Coman was mad that Mason was breaking recruiting news before Singer at BGI (when still at Rivals), so he hired Mason over.
Driskell told Mason not to go, that Stu was just using him, but Mason went anyways.
Of course Singer got SALTY about it & treated Mason like shit.
And as predicted, after a year was up, Stu told Mason he wasn’t bringing him back (he just wanted to steal him from Driskell) & left Mason without a job.
Singer posted some long BS message about Mason being a brother from another mother and how Mason was always welcomed back to post on the board.
In reality Singer had got mad at Mason & banned him the last week so he couldn’t even post.

So Mason popping in & taking shots at Charles Power & On3 (who bought BGI from Coman).

I always wondered to myself if something was going on between Carr & Charles Power, because it makes no sense how often Power craps on CJ.

Last week Driskell & Roberts were doing a podcast and talked about that exact thing.

They said (as I mentioned before) that Andrew Ivins does have an anti-ND bias because he actually hates ND & the fans even more, but Charles Power does not have an anti-ND bias, it’s just personal with Carr.

They talked about how they talk to scouts who are at the same events as Power, actual QB scouts, who all rave about Carr & are all in agreement about him being elite, but then Power will come out and say Carr was just okay. Nobody can figure out what Power is looking at.
Maybe he knows he was wrong & just can’t admit it, so has to defend his horrible ranking, but he goes out of his way to negative talk Carr. CJ was the alpha & MVP of an event, & of all the QBs to talk down about, Power chooses to poo poo on Carr?
So IB straight up said after talking to scouts they know & trust about CJ, that it’s personal with Power & Car. Ivins is just an unqualified, ND hating, idiot.

I'm in for a penny, in for a pound on this guy. The talent is there and he oozes intangibles at this age. Refining him on the field and additional maturation as he grows into a college aged student should make for nothing but good things down the line.

There were 3 dudes at the Elite 11 who aren’t associated with 247 or On3, who all loved Carr.
John Garcia, who is the former player & scout, who just started working for Rivals, said Carr is top 3/4 QB. He had Carr 3rd in his rankings.

I wasn't referring to Reaper posting the details. I was commenting on how that scenario played out. After all, recruit reporting is a niche industry that most people don't care about or even know exists and these guys think they're Woodward and Bernstein! lol

Don't read it then. You talk about IB as much as anyone on this board but when you bring it up its this weird emotionally attached hate thing you have going on with Driskell, at least when @Reaper97 talks about IB is bringing relevant information about football and not the emotional impact of when you truly cared for BD and he ended up kicking you off the IB boards and you are still psychologically recovering from that and taking it out by constantly talking trash about him on an online message board.

He won’t bad mouth Power.
When Singer was at Rivals he would defend horrible Mike Farrell rankings & say Rivals was the best. Now he is with On3 he thinks there’s are the best & everyone else’s sucks.

Last year he consistently defended Power when Power took over & dropped Drayk Bowen from top 50 to outside the top 200.

What does Singer himself say? He could come out and say he thinks he is a top 3 QB. That would save face.

He 100% should.

But if there are ever situations in the past where the national guy is hell bent on something, Singer won’t call him out for being wrong.
