Shaw is an old school, middle linebacker only prospect. He wouldnt be a sideline to sideline guy

Duke, Stanford and Vanderbilt offer sheet along with Alabama and UGA.

Not entirely sure what to think on this when 247 lists ND as "warm" with Bama, Auburn and UGA. He's definitely a traditional MLB, or old school as @dublinirish says, but he's pretty athletic in his highlights and seems pretty football smart. Downhill, fast, doesn't appear to get jammed up by overcommitting. Roquan Smith type of build.

Leaning with @Reaper97 that I'd rather see RVA in the class regardless.

The odds of that are slim. This has the feels of a Richard Young visit for me.

I'm sure RVA and Cole are aware that it is happening, though, and THAT I like a lot. Dominoes are starting to drop on the LB board.

Not sure how interested he is in ND and if this is a result of unlimited OVs, but he did visit unofficially in March.

Young only came for an OV, IIRC.

The unofficial might be the only difference, and while that's saying something, this one is against the odds. Even with the smarty school offers. Stranger Things can happen. Stranger Things is also on Netflix and really cool.

Agree with you, but champagne problems. Take both and figure it out.

I don’t love Shaw’s game in 2023 CFB but he’s definitely an elite ILB. KVA to my amateur eye has more versatility for where to line him up

AND they back burnered Brayden Platt too. Had a side convo a while back with a westcoast analyst you can truast and he thought ND was going to win that one.
