Unless you count their spouses.Their chicks might not be easy on the eyes, but at least they don't have dicks.
Beautiful. The guy survived, and all 4 went to jail according to the comments.
"Why'd he park in a Handicap spot?"
"Because he planned to leave handicapped."
The only thing less popular might just be puppies.
Some constitutionality questions on the age restriction. I’m fine with all the rest. I think there are some people that are concerned about the “slippery slope” of banning assault weapons. Absent that, I’ve never been remotely persuaded by those who argue that they should be able to have one.
This can't be true, because we've been told on good authority that Fox is a right wing conspiracy network that never tells the truth.
People think 18 year olds should be able to join the military and vote, but not buy a gun? Lol.
Or drink beer, or smoke pot, or some nicotine,...People think 18 year olds should be able to join the military and vote, but not buy a gun? Lol.
If people wanna raise the age of majority then let's raise it. But lets be consistent.Or drink beer, or smoke pot, or some nicotine,...
Agreed. If people wanna raise the age of majority then let's raise it. But lets be consistent.

How about this idea? The main reason the voting age was lowered was because it was hard to defend the idea that an 18-year-old was old enough to fight for his country and put his life at risk, but not old enough to vote... and that's a reasonable argument. How about if you're in the military, you can vote, buy tobacco, buy a gun, and buy alcohol; if not, voting, alcohol, guns, and tobacco will be waiting for you at 21.Agreed.
Nope. If you’re considered an adult at age 18 then you should be able to do anything any other adult can do. I’d rather make 21 the de facto age for adulthood. How about this idea? I'm not sure on the constitutionality but as a matter of practicality, I'd be fine with that. At least on base. But there could be some equal protection problems there. How about this idea? This is the equal protection argument I mention after you boil it down.Nope. If you’re considered an adult at age 18 then you should be able to do anything any other adult can do. I’d rather make 21 the de facto age for adulthood.
You can already drink on base.I'm not sure on the constitutionality but as a matter of practicality, I'd be fine with that. At least on base. But there could be some equal protection problems there.
The base follows the laws of the state or the country they are in.You can already drink on base.
I would’ve sworn I was right, but I’ll defer to you on this one. Maybe it used to be that way?The base follows the laws of the state or the country they are in.
Not if underaged. I think that used to be the rule (and may still be in some ways). But when I worked for DOD, our underaged airmen couldn't drink at our (many) holiday parties on base. Probably explains their rather poor attendance record. You can already drink on base.
I believe it used to be. Maybe some of the old guys on the board know when it changed.I would’ve sworn I was right, but I’ll defer to you on this one. Maybe it used to be that way?
80s early 90s probably. Used to be allowed 3.2 beer on base.I would’ve sworn I was right, but I’ll defer to you on this one. Maybe it used to be that way?
Back when I was in the Navy I went to San Diego for a one-week school and was surprised to find vending machines on base that sold beer. The legal age in Cali. at the time was 21 but sailors were permitted to drink on the base. Don’t know if that changed, but it’s how it used to be.The base follows the laws of the state or the country they are in.
edit - except korea. it's 21 there.
Makes sense you were in the navy....Back when I was in the Navy I went to San Diego for a one-week school and was surprised to find vending machines on base that sold beer.
