I think they’re on to something with that one.

Composite top 200 WR. Legit size/length (6’3+). Two sport athlete. Runs like a deer and appears to have a very good ball skills.

On Driskell’s live show, (right now), he was just asked O/U on NEW commits this weekend being 2.5

He answered he didn’t want to answer that quite yet because he was waiting for confirmation from one kid.
But if what he is hearing is true, betting the over would not be wrong.
So he is basically saying there are 2 for sure, and probably a 3rd.
Then made it clear that is ADDITIONAL 3 to the 2 who already committed publicly.

We all make fun of his show, but he always leaks out the good info on accident. LOL

This has always been the case.
It wasn’t the portal, but it was transfers, medicals, academics, etc.,,
I think it was O’Malley who said a few years back that no four or more man OL class has all finished at ND in decades.
Most the time it’s players who failed or weren’t a loss, so no one cares. But just go back 10 years through the class signings & like 30-40% of the classes don’t make it four years at ND.

Portal is a good thing for ND football…players are leaving that aren’t seeing the field that typically would have stayed for degree. This allows us to recruit bigger classes each year going forward like the top teams have for decades

How's everybody feeling about this class thus far? It feels like we actually got the crown jewels already (5 star QB and WR) that we've been coveting, but the potential rest of the class isn't giving me hype beyond the potential WR class. I'm probably underselling it though.

I personally think Notre Dame has one of the best RBs this cycle in Aneyas Williams

I threw it into the class calculator, using what most insiders view as the probable class, even what they considered the “inside straight,” meaning I gave ND Justin Scott, Viliamu-Asa, Lambert, M. Williams, and it was only a 276.4, which would have been 11th last year. So Freeman’s first two full classes would both be outside the top 10.

The 2023 class is only outside of the Top 10 because 24/7 incorporates transfers into their class rankings. ND finished on ESD at 8th or 9th.

I'm not sure how Safety recruiting will go for this class. You'd think that some of the top-tier safeties would be chomping at the bit to come given our depth chart.
