He would be a great piece for the WR room. Him and Josiah Brown bring skillsets some other WRs don't have and would create the basketball roster we want

I believe Loy mentioned the other day that ND believes it leads here.

On campus today.

Spending a lot of time out east, second or third time at ND. Maybe a kid who wants to leave the west after falling apart with SC?

It feels like ND is leading this without a bunch of analysts telling us so.

Someone with a better eye tell me why he's dropping in the rankings. Is it his build? I think that's actually a pro for ND in this case. They have no one else like him.

He's committing to ND today

Any reason why he's dropped in rankings?
I noticed he has a UGA offer. If he were to take a visit to UGA in a few months how many spots would he go up in the rankings?

When Tom doesn't provide any context for his CBs, that usually means the commitment already happened.

Receiver recruiting may be completed by Sunday.

Is there another potential WR commit besides Robinson this weekend?

Isiah Canion, 4 star WR from GA.

Apparently the staff thinks he's incredibly underrated and they've been pushing for him for awhile now. Seems like ND is the clear leader heading into this weekends visit.

Ryan Roberts said yesterday that he wasn’t going to name names but he expects a “couple” offensive commits soon.

A 3 receiver class seems pretty small for a team that’s been starving for receiver depth for like 5 years.

Even with Styles moving to DB, a ‘24 3 man wide receiver class will give ND 12 WRs on scholarship for the 2024 season.12 is a great number.

Stuckey mentioned in a press conference last year that 10 is a number he can work with.

Let’s just say that Robinson, Canion & Lambert all commit soon.
The offensive class, in theory of need, could be done.
1 QB
1 RB
3 WR
1 TE
3 OL

Then they could concentrate on another RB & WR.
If Prescod committed first, then they could concentrate on Lambert.

If you start recruiting and developing WR's at a more consistent clip, then I think that's where you should take scholarships from for other positions that may not recruit as well. No reason to have too deep of a WR room. They're not going to stick around.

Our success rate for players from Long Beach Poly is, shall we say, not great. Like terrible.
Maybe things really are different now.

Ain't no way we're gonna be fooled by another Long Beach Poly recruit...right?

My hope on paper was 4 signees in 2023 and 4 in 2024. I think settling for 3 would be a mistake. You couldn't take numbers for granted ten years ago let alone now with NIL and The Portal being present.

Where you been the last few months?
Always take 3-4 months off post season to get away from football.
And not hitting the Scotch as hard so not as much posting half passed out on cheat days. Some people were taking it too seriously and getting upset/triggered when I went on unfiltered mode.
Just got back in to catching up on ND football this week. So a lot of podcast listening on my morning runs to help me get back in the swing.
But don’t worry, I’m sure there will be a Saturday I hit the Scotch hard & go unhinged again…
