For those of you who think I or anyone else is defending Trump, better go back to school for reading comprehension. What's been pointed out is 1) How this is being handled; 2) That it's political; 3) The indictments were written in such a manner that this may not hold water; 4) "This is it baby, Trump is going away" rhetoric which hasn't happened after so many claims before.

I've made it clear before that I liked what happened (economy, policy, etc.) while he was POTUS. I also made it clear that I was not a fan of how he conducted himself. I have said numerous times as others who you think are defending Trump, that I hope he goes away. Once again for the record, I didn't vote for Trump in either election.

FYI, those kinds of unwarranted and unnecessary comments comes across as the opposite.

I don’t know why they are behaving this way. I mean the people directly under Trump who took part in this conspiracy have already been convicted and done time for the same crimes and agreed to cooperate. The other party to the conspiracy signed a non-prosecution agreement to not do time. Makes no sense.

You keep going back to Trump and those who were under him being found guilty. Who questioned that? Can you show me where I or anyone else said he was innocent or shouldn't be punished if found guilty? Pointing out that there have been questions raised about how strong a case Bragg has isn't supporting Trump. Believing this is politically motivated isn't supporting Trump.

Take the emotion out of it and don't read between the lines. There's nothing there.

Not sure I'd be quoting Avenatti. But he is being charged with crimes that people have already done time for and they did these crimes at his direction and for his benefit. IDK That seems important. In any event this is going to be very slow to move forward. His first in person hearing isnt until December.

It could be resolved before December I think. His lawyers will try to get charges dropped in meantime. Ted Cruz went into it a bit on his podcast. Love or hate the guy, he's pretty good at explaining legal things in plain english.
