Yeah I'm waiting to make judgement once the investigation happens. I've talked to a local detective years ago about this subject and he told me you wouldn't believe the crap some woman make up months or years after they claimed it happened. Long story short he said the ex kids made because he wouldn't do something then makes up lies to make him look bad. It happens all the time. Anyone can scratch themselves or put bruises on themselves and take a picture and claim so and so did it. Unless you have physical evidence of him hitting her video ect it's all hearsay.

I think part of the reason why guys sucked last year was Larussa having no energy in the dogout. It was more enjoyable watching this team play and they were putting the ball in play. Colas is gonna be a stud for us. Vaughn I'm predicting will have 110 RBIS this year especially with Colas batting 9th and Anderson 1st.

I think platooning Romy and Colas in RF is actually going to turn out to be a pretty solid move.

Hopefully Liam can continue making strides in his recovery. It was a good sign the Sox didn’t put him on the 60day DL to start the year.

If it's the same injury prone group that wastes at bats there will be problems. Eloy and Moncada need to not only be healthy but produce while they are. Period. Tim Anderson is going to be vital in terms of his production, first and foremost, along with his leadership.

LaRussa being gone is a major step forward, but they should have done more to address some of their needs in the field.

I agree. If Clevenger can give us even close to what Cueto did last year and Kopech can stay healthy, we’ve got the staff to get it done. The pen still worries me some, but seeing ReyLo close it out throwing GAS last night gave me some hope that he can be a solid addition to the back end of the staff.

Eloy was hitting the ball well in the 2nd of of last season if I remember correctly. He lost weight and if he stays healthy, I think he'll produce. I have no hope for Moncada. Hope he proves me wrong.

He missed all of May and June. You remember correctly because he was actually around. 2021 he showed up around August.

I hope he chooses salad more often than looking at the menu and saying "Ok."

Moncada has proven capable of being a 4-5 WAR player (2019, 2021). He was fucked up in 2020 because he had nasty Covid, but I don't know what his deal was last year. Not like these guys don't have access to very good health care and sports medicine.

Eloy is 26 years old and signed through 2024 with club options in 2025-26. I don't know what to expect in a return for him. He's become one of those guys who can't stay healthy and the other clubs all know this.

As frustrating as it is, I can only imagine how he feels, but this is a recurring theme not just with him but with other guys on this 40 man roster. We are now a third season out from 2020/Pandemic. The organization needs to examine what is going on, if anything.

To be honest with you I'd shop Eloy for pitching. Reach out to Dogers, San Diego Padres ect and see what kind of package they would offer you for you. Get about 3-4 young arms and then make Burger your DH. I'd also trade Hendricks at this trade deadline get 3-4 prospects and shop Giolito to a contender that might need a more solid number 3 or 4 starter.

Dont agree with Moncada at 2b over 3b. He is a natural 3B, and Burger is not as good in my opinion at defense as he is.

Disagree, Sheets hits .153 against lefties in his career, that is why he rarely plays against them. Burger, yes DH everyday, don't play the field.
