Both of those states suck. Now if he was from Wisconsin then we’d have to hire him.

Does ND use a firm to help in their big coaching searches? Like an Indeed headhunter for football

Wouldn’t mind seeing Freeman go after Tom Manning for OC. Give him a pay raise.

No thanks to Chryst and Scott Frost. One of the names I saw was the Utah OC, I would take him.

I’m just spitballing on this thread. Looks like Manning didn’t stay unemployed long. New OC at Cincinnati.

I just pray it's not Parker. Would be such a lazy, uninspiring hire that would fly in the face of everything we thought MF was.
Knowing we also need a QB coach, I pray you’re correct.

Joe Moorhead would be a move similar to Al Golden which could bring some stability whereas an exciting hire like Brian Johnson would be a great hire except he could be one and done.

I lean a Moorhead type hire.

Moorhead and Arroyo are the two guys that stand out. I don't know if either is plausible but that's where I daydreaming.

This job has a lot to offer. Hartman for a year, excellent personnel that includes two bookend OT who will be in the League and money to pay. They should be able to get someone from outside the program currently with ease.

Don't worry, if he elevates Parker all the message board pundits will blame Jack for tying Freeman's hands.

Sounds like when Kelly promoted Rees from within as opposed to having a national search after he told Chip Long to take a hike.
Yes but so many ND fans hated Kelly but loved Rees....go figure. But hey Bama hired him so my loathing of Rees has to be 100% unfounded.

Not to mention a whole bunch of money. I would think the OC at ND would be a Top 10 Coordinator pay job in all of CFP if Freeman pounds the table like Kelly pounded the table to get Freeman into ND.

If I had to guess we will get a OC with NFL experience that’s my guess. NDs offense should be elite next year Freeman should have no problem getting an elite coach

Make a run at Lebby this week. If he turns it down give B. Johnson a call after the SB. I see a lot of comments about Moorhead. I just don’t know if his style of play calling translates as well today as it did 5-7 years ago.

Moorhead would have an interesting decision to make, but Arroyo doesn't look to have anything better going on right now.

What would people think about hiring Tressel (say he’d be up for it) to some sort of Bill Rees role if that meant snagging Hartline?
Probably lottery winning chances of happening but think that would be insane.
