I’m calling BS. MF doesn’t go around telling booster clubs that we got a kid coming who’s going to change college football based off of Dante telling him that ND is his #1 school. Just doesn’t make sense.

I take the “miscommunication” as he silent committed but OJ Moore never did

He is either lying or sources to the ND Analysts are lying. One or the other.

Not sure his motive to lie other than he doesn't want to seem like he used ND.

For ND staff to make this up the reason would to not look so bad spending so much time with this guy, precluding all other QB recruits at the time, and to get ditched by Dante for Oregon.

I think there are as a legit 2 year period where BK & Loy both got really close with Moore.
The way EJ stalked him & the UM staff acted like him going there was a done deal since 8th grade really bothered him.
I don’t know if people remember, but EJ was doing some creepy shit with Moore. Just showing up unannounced & riding on the bus with him for hours instead of showing up to camps like everyone else. Then trying to do live chats with him on the trips, and hanging out at the dorms & playing ping pong & other games.
One of the other players at one camp was pissed because he said EJ would ruin everything because they were a bunch of HS kids trying to hangout & get to know eachother & EJ would always be following them around everywhere they went.

I could have typed A LOT more but didn’t want to derail the thread. LOL
There was a year long period where EJ was everywhere Moore was. It started freaking people out at his HS because EJ was always around, even hanging out on the sideline.
At a Donovan Edwards game, the opponents pulled off his towel during a tackle & kept it. EJ walked around the field to the opposing sideline & grabbed it when no one was looking & took it back to Edwards. I know this only because EJ himself bragged about it on his site.
Creep.

Yes two real questions unanswered:

1. Dante, why did you never like Michigan? Give us one or two of the many possible reasons?
2. How big was Phil Knight's bag to you to leave ND? (And how much did UCLA then increase it?)

I can’t imagine that QBs are going to get away with “silent” commits for too much longer unless advised by the coaching staff you’re committing to.

QBs will become so precious that they will be labeled, TAKEN, like high school girlfriends.

It’s one of the very best drive thru burgers you can get,… but it’s still just a drive thru burger. So yeah, not overly special as burgers go in general

Waffle House is bland too, but they benefit by not really having competition if you want a waffle at 3 am. I can get a boring burger and horrible fries anywhere already.
