We need one. There are several available, including at least one who has quietly visited. We are an appealing destination. I don’t know why someone wouldn’t come to Notre Dame?

Washington was the LB coach at OSU during Javontae's freshman year.

His 24/7 recruiting profile says LB, but PFF shows only snaps as a DL as a freshman.

So, Washington never directly coached him or recruited him, but likely knows him well enough after being together for three years at OSU.
